-I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- I don’t believe there is a player that is more valuable to what his team does than Washington is for this Spalding team and you can see it in the stat lines. Serving as the team’s best rebounder, interior scorer, transition bucket, and creator off the bounce- Washington plays insanely hard at both ends of the floor and displays a level of feel that isn’t typical for a 2-sport athlete. His energy on both ends of the floor sets the tone for his teammates and he is seemingly never intimidated by anyone that lines up across from him. If he wasn’t already slotted as one of the best dual threat quarterback prospects in the nation, I would feel very comfortable projecting him as a do-it-all HM wing prospect.

-Jacobs came alive late to make it a game against Georgetown Prep in a game that Prep controlled for most of the game. The duality defensively that he displays as a shot-blocker that can bang with bigs or slide with guards on the perimeter makes Jacobs a valuable prospect that MM+ coaches should have on their radar. He uses his length well to block or bother shots, collect rebounds, or finish over smaller defenders in the paint. While I still think there is another couple levels to reach as a scorer, I feel comfortable projecting him as a wing/forward tweener that can help a college team win a lot of games at the next level

-McLean’s role as a secondary playmaker and distributor off the bench for this Georgetown Prep team sometimes prevents him from collecting the stats that turn the heads of evaluators and college coaches, but if you watch the game you can easily see the impact that he has across the stat sheet for his squad. A jumbo guard with advanced feel with a knack for finding the open man, his ability to move to space to create his own offense as a C+S threat is improving every game that I catch of his. Has been utilizing an inside out cross into the spin move to finish with an extension layup around the rim, effectively using his size and length. A selfless creator that is looking for the best possible shot for his team, I expect his recruitment to pick up steam this offseason in his first season in the states coming from his native New Zealand.
19p 6r 3s 2b vs Gerstellrn-Always serving as an impressive athlete, Randall showed off an improved perimeter stroke in a big performance in the MIAA Championship game against a very solid Gerstell team. An explosive 6’3 athlete that harnesses brute strength and agility to get to the rim- Randall was a physical menace at both ends of the floor that compliments the skilled shooters around him in a balanced Severn lineup. An aggressive defender that thrives at the POA, Randall altered many shots at the rim and on the perimeter while blocking 2 shots outright. As his perimeter touch and feel improve, I would not be surprised to see LM coaches get involved as early as this summer.
13p 10r 2a 2s vs Georgetown Prep
-The big fella’s game is rounding to form as a high post passing hub that can score it on the block or off the catch beyond the arc. He was just a tad off on his perimeter shots but you could see the muscle memory and fluidity of his finishes around the basket as well as his stroke from the line. Solidly-built and standing at 6’11 with some advanced ball skills and IQ, Reibe understands positioning and sees plays develop a step faster than most players his age. This is a prospect for HM coaches to be monitoring closely as we finish up the HS season and head into AAU.
