With his team trailing on the final possession, Abdulqadir knocked down a tough step-back three to force overtime at the buzzer. Peyton is already trusted as a ball handler, and he was playing big minutes in crunch time because he makes smart reads and isn't going to commit careless turnovers. When the shot clock was winding down, STMA wanted the ball in his hands because he excelled at creating shots off of limited dribbles. Johnson was pulling up for threes, creating separation for mid-range jumpers, and getting all the way to the rim for some strong finishes through contact. When the ball was in his hands good things seemed to happen. At 6'3 he offers size on the wing, and is a threat from beyond the arc with his shooting touch. Hudson showed he can create his own shot with his change of speed on the ball, or he can fire off the catch when he has space on the perimeter. The 6'5 SF showcased range from well beyond the high school arc as he did everything he could to try to bring his team back into the game. It was at the point where STMA knew he was going to shoot, but there just wasn't much they could do to stop him. He excelled in the role of a stretch-forward for this team, as they 6'6 junior  was locked in from beyond the arc. With a couple of talented playmakers around him, Jordan was floating in space on the perimeter and was always ready to shoot when the ball came his way. The 6'3 senior was dominant on the glass, and was making some impressive passes to set up his teammates for good looks. He looks to have put on some strength since last season, and that helped him bully his way to the rim for his 6 points as well as clear out space to pull in rebounds. On the defensive end he had no problem defending against taller forwards, limiting the amount of good looks Moorhead was able to get at the rim in the second half.
