As we always say, nobody does event coverage and content like Prep Hoops Indiana. We take pride in covering the entire state with an emphasis on boots on the ground coverage. That is never more true than the time in between Christmas and New Year's Eve. After spending Tuesday streaming the annual First Financial Bank Wabash Valley Classic we will return to in-person coverage on Wednesday with no fewer than 17 and up to 19 games on the viewing schedule from the 27th through the 30th. Here is a quick look at where @KylerStaley & myself, @BRamseyKSR will be over the next few days. Be sure to follow us on Twitter for non-stop game coverage over the next few days. Also, make sure you are following @PrepHoopsIN as well. Now, let's dive on in and take a look at the various holiday tournaments we will be at between now and the end of 2023.

Brandon - Homestead Tournament

10:00 a.m. - Hamilton Southeastern vs. Mishawaka Marian

11:45 a.m. - Homestead vs. Valparaiso

6:00 p.m. - Munster vs. Zionsville

7:45 p.m. - South Bend St. Joseph vs. Carroll (Fort Wayne)

Having a big break in the middle of the day isn't ideal for getting in as many games as possible, but we still will get to see all eight teams participating in this event on Wednesday. Each team plays three games before being seeded in a "Pool A" and "Pool B" for seventh place, fifth place, third place, and championship games to be played on Thursday night. Six of these eight teams will be new to my personal viewing schedule this year with Zionsville and South Bend St. Joseph serving as the lone repeats. Homestead's new gymnasium is beautiful and this will be a great opportunity to see some of the best talent in the northern part of the state.

Kyler - Noblesville Tournament

10:00 a.m. - Crown Point vs. Castle

11:45 a.m. - Noblesville vs. McCutcheon

This event isn't as big as it has been in recent years, but there is still some good talent coming from all parts of the state. You have Castle coming up from Evansville, McCutcheon coming over from the Lafayette area, and Crown Point heading down from the Region. However, it all will run through Class 4A #5 Noblesville to win this four-team tournament.

Brandon & Kyler - Fishers Tournament

10:30 a.m. - Lawrence Central vs. Chesterton

12:15 p.m. - Jeffersonville vs. South Bend Riley

2:00 p.m. - Evansville Bosse vs. Portage

3:45 p.m. - Fishers vs. Bloomington North

You will be hard pressed to find a more loaded field than this one. You have the dynamic duo of [player_tooltip player_id='1275807' first='Tyler' last='Parrish'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1158231' first='Justin' last='Sims'] going against an up-start Lawrence Central team that has proven they are capable of beating anyone. Then, you get two teams from opposite ends of the state that have no shortage of talent. Jeffersonville features their junior trio of [player_tooltip player_id='1388408' first='Tre' last='Singleton'], [player_tooltip player_id='1373104' first='P.J.' last='Douglas'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1297093' first='Michael' last='Cooper'] while Riley has Bethel commit [player_tooltip player_id='1547394' first='Payton' last='Baird']. In the third game, you get another matchup of two schools who would otherwise never cross paths. [player_tooltip player_id='1158192' first='Taray' last='Howell'], one of the top scorers in the state, leads Bosse while juniors [player_tooltip player_id='1578442' first='Michael' last='Wellman'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1297027' first='Garrett' last='Clark'] look to shine on the big state for Portage. Finally, you'll get undefeated Fishers on their home floor against an always tough Bloomington North squad. Both Kyler and myself will be here for these four games.

After watching those first four games of the Fishers Tournament I will be moving on to #1 ranked Lawerence North to watch the 7-0 Wildcats take on sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='1552625' first='E.J.' last='Hazelett'] and the Franklin Central Flashes at 7:30 p.m.

Brandon - Paul Loggan Memorial Invitational + Bob Wettig Tournament

10:00 a.m. - Lake Central vs. Park Tudor

11:45 a.m. - Louisville Trinity (KY) vs. Carmel

1:30 p.m. - Evansville Harrison vs. Pike

3:15 p.m. - North Central vs. Evansville Reitz

Honoring their late athletic director Paul Loggan, North Central has built an impressive field for this two-day invitational. Lake Central is currently undefeated and climbing the statewide rankings while Evansville Harrison is 6-1 and one of the best teams from down south. It'll be great to see those programs get a chance to go against some of the best in Indianapolis. Additionally, Evansville Reitz features one of the best Class of 2027 prospects in the country in [player_tooltip player_id='2266865' first='Jaylan' last='Mitchell'] plus sophomore Jaylen Langley. For Indiana High School Basketball fans in the area it'll be worth the price of admission to come see Mitchell play.

6:30 p.m. - Bob Wettig Third Place Game

8:00 p.m. - Bob Wettig Championship Game

After the final game at North Central I will head back home to Richmond where I'll catch the final two games of the annual Bog Wettig Tournament at the Tiernan Center. These two games could feature the likes of Fort Wayne North Side, Tindley, Richmond, and Bloomington South.

Brandon & Kyler - Henry County Health Hall of Fame Classic

11:00 a.m. - Kokomo vs. Crispus Attucks

12:45 p.m. - Brownstown Central vs. Brownsburg

Fans of Indiana High School Basketball make an annual pilgrimage to the Largest and Finest High School Fieldhouse in the World every year to watch this outstanding event. Between a chance to see the 9,000+ seat Fieldhouse, tour the Indiana High School Basketball Hall of Fame, and take in some great games it doesn't get much better than this. The first semifinal will feature Kansas signee [player_tooltip player_id='1363488' first='Flory' last='Bidunga'] going against Class of 2025 three-star forward [player_tooltip player_id='1297019' first='Dezmon' last='Briscoe']. Then, Purdue signee [player_tooltip player_id='1158245' first='Jack' last='Benter'] will take the floor for the Class 2A #1 Brownstown Central Braves. The third place and championship games will take place at 6:00 p.m. and 7:45 p.m. Both Kyler and I will each be at the first two games. However, whether I return to the evening session or find another game (possibly the final two games of the Lawrenceburg Tournament) remains up in the air.
