He had it going off the dribble early, hitting in the mid-range. Including a tough look at the free throw line to end the first frame. Schaffer's strong play to end the first would start a theme of him having the ball in his hands late each quarter. Late in the second quarter he pounded the rock in a similar manner but instead of forcing a jumper, he found an open teammate for a triple. And late in the third, he extended the lead with a great finish at the rim.rnrnThe offensive production carried over into energy on the defensive end, as he was an energetic defender, using his quickness to harass ball handlers. A big junior year seems to be on tap as McGuinness looks to make noise in a new look Class 4A.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1552384"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Leache continues to look like one of the better scorers in the sophomore class. His shooting form is smooth and he made it rain from beyond the arc throughout the contest as the Cyclone's most consistent threat. He loved to get out in transition, from running to spots along the three point line or pushing it himself.  When pushing it himself, he was good when looking for his own shot. But was up and down when making the right read to find open teammates, vision and reading the floor are areas to watch as the skilled scorer continues to improve his lead guard traits.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["1295741"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"While a lot of the Irish were content with jumpers, McCormick went to work off the bounce and around the rim. His favorite move off the dribble on the game was a spin move. Which paired well with his strong frame.  The junior is a tenacious finisher, who looks like he can be relied on to go get a tough bucket for McGuinness.","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["1632267"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"Usually with players, it's a tale of two halves. For the senior, it was a tale of the first 28 minutes and the final 4 minutes. The early notes when watching the stream involved poor shooting and the occasional turnover. There were some flashes, but it largely looked it would be a forgettable game for Buckingham.rnrnMcGuinness went up 61-38 with 3:45 left. 15 seconds later Buckingham hit a three, a few seconds after that he scooped up a loose ball and scored a transition layup. Then he made a play in the backcourt, scored again and was fouled. After the free throw, Buckingham had scored 8 points in 15 seconds and suddenly the momentum was flowing the Cyclones' way. The one man show continued for the next 30 seconds, as he would score 5 more points for a total of 13 points in basically a minute. Which turned what looked like a blowout, into a competitive game down the stretch.rnrnWhile a senior, injuries have hampered his past two seasons of high school basketball development. And before coming to Casady for his final year, he was never the primary offensive weapon for his high school team.  Watching back a game where he fought through adversity, to finish strongly was a great indicator going forward. As Buckingham showed great flashes of individual skill as a scorer this past summer, and now must fully unlock his game as teams scheme and gameplan against him this winter.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1987392"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Goodwin was quiet in the first quarter, but more than made up for it the rest of the contest. An early three pointer got the points flowing for the sophomore. He then scored in about every way possible, free throw line jumpers, a left handed finish at the rim, and earning trips to the line. He displayed great touch at all levels.rnrnThe scoring responsibility should only continue to grow, as the game progressed Jenks seemed to run more looks for him. Putting him in good spots to attack off the ball, heading toward the rim. His scoring was big throughout the back and forth contest, and he even stepped up late with crucial scores. And he even drained a pair of free throws to extend the lead in the closing moments.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_5_player":["1781779"],"_player_evaluations_5_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_5_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_5_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"The senior carried the scoring load for the young Sabercats. He did it in about every way possible. He opened the scoring with a DEEP three pointer, then went to work all over the court. From backdoor cuts, scoop scores with either hand at the rim to avoid defenders, along with spinning, twirling shots in the mid-range. This included tough, clutch scores in the fourth quarter of the back and forth contest.rnrnScoring is the prominent part of Ledbetter's DNA. But he was more than just a bucket getter, he was better as a distributor. He leans toward still being a combo guard, but his play in ball screens and keeping his head up on drives were a strong improvement. That helped elevate the play of his teammates.","_player_evaluations_5_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_6_player":["1367229"],"_player_evaluations_6_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_6_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_6_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"A scrappy lead guard, Mundy popped up throughout the first half with tough scores.  Including a good u0022And 1u0022 finish at the rim to cap his production in the first sixteen minutes. His composed scoring continued in the second half, when he added timely three pointers in the third quarter.  His scoring in the fourth showed more skill and awareness, with using the rim on a reverse layup to protect the ball from shot blockers. Then a late in the game composed floater extended the Trojan's lead to three.","_player_evaluations_6_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_7_player":["1987391"],"_player_evaluations_7_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_7_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_7_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"Williams continues to look like a promising longterm prospect, with light on his feet movement and non stop energy. He cleaned the glass on both ends of the court. The sophomore is already starting to have good feel as a shot blocker and contesting other shot attempts at the rim.rnrnA lot of his offensive game was putbacks, rolls to the rim and plays that relied on his energy and athleticism.  But he did have a couple nice feeds to teammates as a passer, that indicate there is upside to develop as a perimeter threat.  The Sabercat's longterm potential remains very intriguing.","_player_evaluations_7_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_8_player":["1552339"],"_player_evaluations_8_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_8_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_8_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_8_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_8_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_8_evaluation":"The sophomore had been on a hot streak for over the last month, but was quiet from a points standpoint in the loss. He did have a burst of scoring in the third quarter, successful attacking in the mid-range. Brammer had other moments of impact; including taking a charge, pushing tempo and often making the right pass.  But it was a tough ending to the game with a couple turnovers in the final frame. The promising Sabercat will be looking for a bounce back next Tuesday at Bixby.","_player_evaluations_8_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":9,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"edit","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6570d1d79928a"} /-->
