Top-130 Most Impactful in the AIA

Another season is upon us this week and especially next with many teams first games of the season.   Here we take a fun look at the Top-130 most impactful. These are NOT prospect rankings, but how does this player affect the outcome of their team for just this season to make a deep playoff run.   Obviously the more stacked of talent the team has, individual players don't hold as much weight as another player, but there are always some exceptions. Also the better the team, the more players I will name.   If I did not mention your team, I probably feel that it is a long shot to make the playoffs this season.     Top-130 Most Impactful for this AIA season:   1-[player_tooltip player_id='1129193' first='Koa' last='Peat'] Perry   They lost a lot of top players and he is just that good. Take him off they make playoffs, with him, they are one of the favorites to win the OPEN with his strength, skill, passing, scoring and defense.      2-[player_tooltip player_id='1150824' first='Kaden' last='House'] Desert Mountain   You can argue that he was the second most impactful player last season and he was only a freshman. They have just been so-so without him in the fall. They will need his defense, passing and scoring to possibly win it all.      3-[player_tooltip player_id='1131814' first='Ring' last='Nyeri'] Liberty   The long forward is one of those players you take off this team and they would be at the bottom of the 6A playoffs, with him they are a top-10 6A team for his two-way play. One of the top players in the AIA from inside and out.    4-[player_tooltip player_id='1152187' first='Luke' last='Shaw'] Valley Christian   A 3A contender without him, but with him, they are one of the best teams, maybe top-10 in the state and a heavy 3A favorite to win it all since they can't be in the OPEN with his shooting and lead guard play.    5-[player_tooltip player_id='1123041' first='Bradey' last='Henige'] Cactus   Not many bigger in the entire state then Henige. He leaves this team and they would be a lower 4A playoff team, with him, they are one of the 4A favorites with his skill, strength and elite rebounding. One of the rare players who can literally average 25+ points and 20+ rebounds.     6-[player_tooltip player_id='1333492' first='Michael' last='Simcoe'] Sandra Day O'Connor   A quickly improving program has Simcoe's fingerprints all over it. The southpaw is strong inside and skilled from the perimeter. He makes defenses adjust to him and he has them as a top-10 6A contender.    7-[player_tooltip player_id='1323290' first='Mason' last='Magee'] Basha   One of the top lead guards in the AIA makes the Bears better on offense and defense. He runs the show, has speed to burn, scores it and makes opposing point guards uncomfortable. They are an OPEN title contender with him on the court.     8-[player_tooltip player_id='1135515' first='Noah' last='Gifft'] Ironwood   He may be one of the top scorers in 5A this season, and as good as they usually are, this kid makes them a Top-10 overall contender regardless of conference with his elite shooting and decision making with the ball.       9-[player_tooltip player_id='1150822' first='Cameron' last='Holmes'] Millennium   As well rounded as their team is, he is hard to duplicate what he does for them. They are a legit OPEN contender to win it all with his offensive game from all levels, passing and versatility on defense.     10-[player_tooltip player_id='1336443' first='Uriah' last='Tenette'] Prescott   One of the game changers of 4A. He could be even higher on this list since he means just that much. They would possibly even struggle making a real playoff run without him. Now they are a top-5 4A team with him from his scoring, athleticism and play-making.        11-[player_tooltip player_id='996176' first='Bryce' last='Quinet'] Notre Dame Prep   The leader of the Saints is their pure point guard who can score and defend. He has deep range, strength and he will lead them deep into the playoffs and a possible OPEN run.   12-[player_tooltip player_id='994006' first='Styles' last='Phipps'] St. Mary's   They would be a playoff team without him with some added weapons this year, but one of the few 4A teams that can make a real OPEN run with him. He makes them go with his pinpoint passing and scoring.     13-[player_tooltip player_id='996166' first='Braeden' last='Speed'] Brophy Prep   A deep 6A team per usual, but not many on the team do what he does. His senior leadership, defense and initiating the offense make them a top 6A and OPEN contender.    14-[player_tooltip player_id='994680' first='Jai' last='Anthoni Bearden'] Sunnyslope   As deep as the Vikings are, he is nearly impossible to replace on this team. He defends the best opposing player nearly every game and brings that senior leadership this young team needs to go along with his scoring and rebounding.    15-[player_tooltip player_id='1150843' first='Andrew' last='Bhesania'] Boulder Creek   One of the big mismatch problems of the AIA. His size, perimeter skill, post play and passing makes them into an OPEN title contender. Without him, they just don't have the proper size to compete versus the top teams.    16-[player_tooltip player_id='1301344' first='Kingston' last='Tosi'] Millennium   A true mismatch problem in the AIA. His scoring inside and then being able to step out and shoot it from the perimeter with his size makes them one of the OPEN title favorites.    17-[player_tooltip player_id='1150823' first='Kalek' last='House'] Desert Mountain   Like Kaden, Kalek has not played in the fall and the team isn't the same without him. He was another very impactful freshman last year with his scoring, passing and tough on-ball defense.    18-[player_tooltip player_id='1305181' first='Tommy' last='Randolph'] Pinnacle   One of the most athletic lead guards in the AIA. The transfer from Phoenix Christian immediately helps the Pioneers become a 6A contender with his scoring, defense and facilitating. With the loss of Johnson leaving the state, his play will be even more vital to the teams success.      19-[player_tooltip player_id='1150852' first='DeNali' last='McNeal'] Canyon View   The West Side team has improved each season and you can look straight at McNeal. He brings confidence to play both guard spots to score, defend and make the correct decisions leading to the W. He nearly has a triple double nightly.    20-[player_tooltip player_id='1123040' first='Anthony' last='Batson Jr'] Notre Dame Prep   THE top athlete in the AIA plays on an undersized overall team and that is why he is so high. He defends the 2-5 for them and you can put him truly anywhere on the court. Then he is sensational on the break and he is a phenomenal passer.     21-[player_tooltip player_id='1306025' first='Mason' last='Hunt'] Bradshaw Mountain   This bigger guard is nearly impossible to take off the floor for the Bears. They can make a deep 4A run behind him leading the team in scoring, assists, rebounds, blocks and maybe even steals.    22-[player_tooltip player_id='996172' first='D'Andre' last='Harrison'] Perry   Peat will get a lot of attention but Harrison can score in his own right. He also defends multiple positions, rebounds and makes plays. He will be very important to be productive for a chance to win the OPEN.     23-[player_tooltip player_id='1482165' first='Rider' last='Portela'] Sunnyslope   A breakout player in the OPEN Chip last season has carried it over to the spring, summer and fall. He is one of their top scorers and all-around players that puts this team on a very short list to win the OPEN.    24-[player_tooltip player_id='1674458' first='Travis' last='Vasquez'] Deer Valley   One of the top 4A teams in the AIA is led by Vasquez. He makes plays for everyone and is their leading scorer. He made a big leap up last year and looks to again and he will lead them on a deep playoff run.     25-[player_tooltip player_id='1336434' first='Presley' last='Ibeh'] Highland Prep   One of the top small school players in the AIA. His strength, passing, improved skill and supreme athleticism makes this team into one of the 2A favorites.      26-[player_tooltip player_id='1494967' first='Dylan' last='Novak'] ALA-Gilbert North   They got two important transfers that will pay off later in the season but they won't get to where they want to go without Novak. He scores it from all levels and is a very good passer to make plays.    27-[player_tooltip player_id='1449361' first='Caspian' last='Jones'] St. Mary's   One of the top scoring junior forwards in the AIA gives Phipps a real partner in crime. He is a three level scorer, has athleticism and he makes them into a a top 4A team and real OPEN contender.      28-[player_tooltip player_id='1490241' first='Elijah' last='Summers-Livingston'] Basha   He has the rare size, length and athleticism to play inside versus the best post players in the AIA. No one on the team can do what he does with rim runs, blocking shots and physical play.    29-[player_tooltip player_id='1369213' first='Amare' last='King'] Casteel   A bigger combo guard is their go-to guy and the East Valley team is on the rise. He makes plays, scores from all levels and they are one of the sleeper teams of the state led by King.    30-[player_tooltip player_id='1986796' first='Peyton' last='Lubash'] San Tan Charter (Pictured)   One of the rare freshmen on the list makes this young upstart team into one of the 2A title favorites. He scores it from all levels but makes plays for his teammates as well. Not many shoot it like him, even at his young age.     31-[player_tooltip player_id='1220362' first='Donovan' last='Beard'] Dobson   A lights out scorer handles the point guard duties and will take most of the shots in the offense. He is three level scorer and will carry the Mustangs almost every night to a 6A playoff berth. Don't be surprised that he averages 20+ ppg.    32-[player_tooltip player_id='996764' first='Brennan' last='Peterson'] Notre Dame Prep   One of the top shooters in the AIA plays on or off the ball. He is quicker then you realize, shoots it with range and takes a lot of pressure off of Batson Jr and Quinet. One of the top trios in the AIA gives them a chance to go very far in the OPEN and be one of the best 5A teams.     33-[player_tooltip player_id='1612468' first='Cameron' last='Williams'] St. Mary's   One of the top shot blockers in the state gives the Knights a real defensive interior presence. He also scores it inside and he covers a lot of ground. He is hard for them to take off the floor to possibly win an OPEN Chip and are one of the best 4A teams.     34-[player_tooltip player_id='1275632' first='Lex' last='Clontz'] Cesar Chavez   The quickly improving 6A teams is my personal sleeper 6A team led by Clontz. He plays the lead guard role and also is their leading scorer. Look for them to make a real 6A Playoff run.    35-[player_tooltip player_id='1591734' first='TJ' last='Harris'] Paradise Honors   One of the top point guards in 4A runs the team and will be their leading scorer for the Panthers. He will guide them into the 4A playoffs with his speed, passing and scoring.      36-[player_tooltip player_id='1231502' first='Bryce' last='Anderson'] Phoenix Christian   One of the more athletic forwards in 2A is their go-to scorer from all three levels and flies on the break. He will lead them deep into the 2A playoffs and are one of the favorites behind Anderson's play.     37-[player_tooltip player_id='1381426' first='Luke' last='Wieskamp'] Brophy Prep   The recent out of state transfer is just what they needed since they lost Arman to graduation. He has good size, skill and plus athleticism to help Speed and co to an OPEN playoff run.    38-[player_tooltip player_id='1150901' first='John' last='Mattingly'] Sunnyslope   The sniper of the team gives the team space to work with when he is hitting his pretty jumper from mid to the three while making plays. He will be one of the reasons they make a deep OPEN run and possible title.    39-[player_tooltip player_id='1951007' first='Keaton' last='Ort'] Fountain Hills   One of the top 3A contenders in the AIA. Ort will have his fingertips all over this team and may average 20+ ppg. They went 17-0 in the regular season last year and look to emulate that behind Ort's stellar play.     40-[player_tooltip player_id='1150940' first='Rowan' last='McKenzie'] Boulder Creek   When he is playing in tip-top form, and healthy, he is a tough cover as he scores, defends and makes plays. The Jaguars will follow his lead to get them into the OPEN or a possible deep 6A run.        41-[player_tooltip player_id='1369218' first='Gavin' last='Dabney'] Higley   The bigger combo guard scores it, makes plays and defends inside. He can shoot it from the perimeter plus post up making him a nightmare to match up with.    42-[player_tooltip player_id='1354953' first='I'yar' last='Shadowvine'] Ironwood   The pure point guard of the team had a big summer and fall. He scores it to keep the defense honest but he facilitates and defends on the ball. He will lead them to a deep 5A and possible OPEN run.    43-[player_tooltip player_id='1490240' first='Colton' last='Watson'] Sandra Day O'Connor   The bigger point forward may actually run the point the first half of the season before the transfers are eligible. He is versatile to defend and play multiple positions and will get them deep into the 6A playoffs or OPEN.     44-[player_tooltip player_id='1323295' first='Brayden' last='Barrett'] Millennium   The top shooter of the team spreads the floor perfectly for Tosi and Holmes to get more space. When he is on fire, they are nearly impossible to beat. He makes them into a real OPEN title contender.    45-[player_tooltip player_id='1293439' first='Sabien' last='Cain'] Millennium   A perfect addition to an already stacked roster. The out of state transfer plays some of the lead guard role plus can go on his own runs to score. He compliments them and he is one of the reasons that they can win the OPEN.     46-[player_tooltip player_id='1938362' first='Jamison' last='Fox'] Arcadia   One of the top 4A forwards who is difficult to match up with. He has legit size, skill and passing ability to carry them many games into a playoff berth of 4A. One of the sleeper teams for this year and next of 4A.   47-[player_tooltip player_id='1674510' first='AJ' last='Ajawin'] Deer Valley   An athletic forward can step out and shoot perimeter jumpers plus rebound and block shots. A top 4A team has a chance to win the conference if they don't stay in the OPEN behind the play of Ajawin.      48-[player_tooltip player_id='1336442' first='Zane' last='Gaul'] Prescott   One of the biggest players in the AIA should be a perfect compliment to Tenette. He has the size, skill and strength to dominant and get the team back into the 4A playoffs.     49-[player_tooltip player_id='1674466' first='Connor' last='Morris'] ALA Gilbert North   A bigger guard will be one of their leading scorers. He scores it with his sweet stroke and defends multiple positions. He will be one of the main reasons they make a deep 4A playoff run.     50-[player_tooltip player_id='1873794' first='Ashton' last='Romney'] Walden Grove   One of Tucson's finest is having a big off season with his scoring, highlight dunks and leads the team in many categories. He will lead the 4A improving team to a playoff berth.         51-[player_tooltip player_id='1444279' first='Isaiah' last='Berg'] Mica Mountain   The burly forward will lead the 4A Tucson team back to the playoffs with his scoring and interior defense. He may be approaching a rare 20/10 season for his senior year.    52-[player_tooltip player_id='996175' first='Barron' last='Silsby'] Perry   The senior marksmen will space the floor and let Harrison and Peat work inside. When he is drilling his perimeter jumpers, he is a valuable piece to a possible 3-peat Chip.     53-[player_tooltip player_id='1364929' first='Jackson' last='Hunter'] Liberty   A nice compliment to Ring this season. He will be their second leading scorer and make his own personal runs to score. He already had some huge 30+ scoring games this fall and looks to keep it going during the season.    54-[player_tooltip player_id='1482211' first='Noah' last='Gloor'] Higley   The deep sharp shooter will give the Dabney twins space to work with and he will be one of their leading scorers all year to get them into a deep 5A playoff run.    55-[player_tooltip player_id='1119350' first='Wyatt' last='MacKay'] North Canyon   A quickly improving guard has made a big leap up in the spring, summer and fall. He scores it more effectively from all three levels and will defend. He will lead the 5A team on a possible deep playoff run.     56-[player_tooltip player_id='1042714' first='Archie' last='Graves IV'] Central   The pure point guard makes teammates around him better. His handle, defense, speed and tough shot making abilities will get them into the 5A playoffs and make a run.     57-[player_tooltip player_id='1286023' first='Ryan' last='Burbach'] Brophy Prep   One of the top shooters in 6A gives them space to work inside since you can't leave him open from the three. He has steadily improved each season and this is his year to affect outcomes of games.     58-[player_tooltip player_id='1555180' first='Delton' last='Prescott III'] Sunnyslope   One of only a few freshmen on the list makes the team play with his good pace and will make plays for them. His speed is hard to duplicate and will be a difference maker for a deep playoff OPEN run.    59-[player_tooltip player_id='1334830' first='Nigel' last='Anderson'] Dysart   A talented forward will lead the 4A team deep into the playoffs. They are a top-10 4A team with his scoring, defense, rebounding and senior leadership.      60-[player_tooltip player_id='1494969' first='Owen' last='Bell'] ALA Gilbert-North   The lone senior starter does a lot for the talented 4A team. He scores it from all levels and will defend the opposing teams top forward. He is hard to take off the floor for one of the top 4A teams.     61-[player_tooltip player_id='996174' first='Bo' last='Dolinsek'] Corona del Sol   A strong inside and out threat has been shooting it well from deep in the off season making him a tough matchup. He will lead the Aztecs to the 6A playoffs with his scoring and interior defense.     62-[player_tooltip player_id='1685490' first='Patrice' last='Mpouli'] Hamilton   A new core of talent for the Huskies this season. The Washington transfer can possibly be one of the top newcomers and be an instant impact scorer and top-end defender.   63-[player_tooltip player_id='1986806' first='Gabriel' last='Briones'] Cesar Chavez   A very good scorer will take some pressure off of Clontz this season. Look for him to have a breakout season scoring the ball, defending and making an OPEN playoff push.    64-[player_tooltip player_id='1128252' first='Gage' last='Galbreath'] Centennial   The two sport standout is a load from inside and out. The team will play through him on offense and he will man the paint on defense. He is very difficult to take off the court for them and they should make a deep 5A playoff run.    65-[player_tooltip player_id='1542272' first='Michael' last='Payne'] Cholla   The three level scorer is quick and can make shots from both perimeter levels. He has speed to burn and will lead the Chargers into the 5A playoffs and they are a real sleeper team behind him and Jenkins.        66-[player_tooltip player_id='1390361' first='Keon' last='Talgo'] Gilbert Christian   The sturdy framed 3A standout will lead his team most nights in scoring and take on the leadership role. He is a three level scorer and they will make a deep 3A run behind him.      67-[player_tooltip player_id='2171184' first='Gage' last='Bartlett'] Shadow Ridge   The talented lefty plays on or off the ball just as effectively. He can thread the needle and shoot it with range. He makes them go and will put them in the 6A playoffs.    68-[player_tooltip player_id='1263804' first='Jaylon' last='Johnson'] Desert Mountain   One of the big wildcards of the AIA season is Johnson. With the possibility of their football post player not playing, he may be the only size they have. If he can regain his freshman form, when he was healthy, the Wolves will be a real OPEN title contender.    69-[player_tooltip player_id='1371094' first='Quincy' last='Kirk'] Canyon View   The junior point guard had to sit a year and he is looking to be the 5A breakout player of the year. He handles a lot of the lead guard role and plays off of McNeal to score and make plays.    70-[player_tooltip player_id='1150846' first='Trey' last='Chemin'] Cactus Shadows   The athletic forward's defensive presence, rebounding, athleticism and scoring touch from inside and out will lead the 5A Falcons back into the playoffs.    71-[player_tooltip player_id='1893665' first='Cisco' last='Llamas'] Sahuaro   One of the top scorers in Tucson happens to be a soph. He is also a very good on-ball defender and makes plays for his teammates. He will lead the 4A team deep into the playoffs and most likely into the start of the OPEN playoffs.     72-[player_tooltip player_id='1162452' first='Grant' last='Woods'] Valley Christian   The heavy 3A favorites got a perfect transfer last year with Woods. He shoots it well and has the needed size to play inside for the 3A title contenders.     73-[player_tooltip player_id='1064158' first='Christian' last='Warren'] Basha   The glue guy of the team does it all from scoring, passing, defending and gets many loose balls for them. He is very hard to replace on this team and his senior leadership will get them into the 6A playoffs and hopefully the OPEN.   74-[player_tooltip player_id='1217315' first='TayVion' last='Wilson'] Sandra Day O'Connor   After he sits games from transferring in from Kellis, he will lead this team and make his pretty jumpers with range. He will pivotal to give the Simcoe brothers and Watson space to work with to get them where they want to go.     75-[player_tooltip player_id='1275052' first='Noah' last='Sowunmi'] North Canyon   After he sits from the transfer he should make an immediate impact to the 5A team. With his two-way play of scoring and play-making, he should be very helpful and get them into a deep playoff run.     76-[player_tooltip player_id='1216999' first='Jaylen' last='Wollangk'] Mesquite   He runs the show for the top-5 4A team. He is a defensive stopper on the ball and is now making deep shots making it harder to defend him. He will lead them to a deep playoff run.    77-[player_tooltip player_id='1278778' first='William' last='Dixion III'] Canyon Del Oro   The senior leader is tough, strong, athletic and skilled from inside and the perimeter. Look for him to lead the Dorado into the playoffs after they missed out last year.    78-[player_tooltip player_id='2133624' first='Cyree' last='Jenkins'] Cholla   The dynamic junior guard will play alongside Payne and be a difference maker. He has rare speed and the lefty can score from all three levels. His defense is tough and he will help them make a real playoff run.   79-[player_tooltip player_id='1781818' first='Pearson' last='Wiggins'] ALA-Ironwood   The big man is starting to figure it out. He will be invaluable with his size, improving skill, rim running and blocking shots making them into one of the top 3A teams this season.    80-[player_tooltip player_id='2039503' first='Chad' last='Coplin'] ALA-Ironwood   The top scorer of the team does it from all three levels with his bounce, shooting and downhill play. Him and Wiggins form a tough duo to compete with any 3A team.    81-[player_tooltip player_id='1490881' first='Cameron' last='Rice'] NVCA   One of the favorites in 1A has a tough duo to deal with. Rice has the size, skill in the paint and touch from the perimeter. He will be a tough matchup every night in 1A.    82-[player_tooltip player_id='1490908' first='Bobby' last='Rodriguez'] NVCA   Their unequivocal leader for one of the 1A favorites is Rodriguez. He scores it from all levels, runs the team and makes plays for them. He is very hard to replace for this team's chances to win it all.     83-[player_tooltip player_id='1757699' first='Paris' last='Strozier Jr'] Thunderbird   One of the better two-way players in all of 4A is the anchor to their defense and a top transition scorer. He will have them back in the 4A playoffs with his all-around play.      84-[player_tooltip player_id='1594604' first='Keyan' last='Murphy'] Centennial   The teams six man last year should be an important piece to a 5A playoff run with his inside and out play combined with his strength and perimeter shooting touch.   85-[player_tooltip player_id='1274847' first='Adam' last='Hubbard'] Canyon View   The third guard for the quickly improving 5A West Valley team. He is an instant scorer from all levels with his deep shooting and transition scoring. His length will help them on defense and will take a lot of pressure off of McNeal and Kirk. He makes them a dangerous team in the 5A playoffs.   86-[player_tooltip player_id='1817666' first='Stephan' last='Iron Shell'] Arizona Lutheran   Iron Shell averaged over 20 points last season and looks to duplicate it this season. The lefty sharp shooter can shoot with the best of them and will lead the 2A team back into the playoffs.   87-[player_tooltip player_id='1483884' first='Taimari' last='Jones'] McClintock   The senior forward is a matchup problem nightly. He can carry the load to score inside and he will be the anchor of the team on defense swatting shots and grabbing boards.     88-[player_tooltip player_id='1323292' first='Joseph' last='Lindsey'] Mountain Pointe   He runs a fairly younger team and is hard to replicate for the Pride. He makes them go with his speed and true facilitating. He will guide them into the 5A playoffs.    89-[player_tooltip player_id='1595012' first='Christian' last='Acevedo'] Apollo   A lot of talent has graduated and Acevedo has the size and skill to keep them in the 5A playoff hunt all season. He will show off his talents and be a breakout candidate.     90-[player_tooltip player_id='2133645' first='Razin' last='Smith Jr'] The Gregory School   A freshman standout will control the paint and score from all three levels. Look for him to lead the way and be a nice sleeper team in 1A to make a deep playoff run.   91-[player_tooltip player_id='1425099' first='Kaleel' last='Kelly'] Willow Canyon   One of the top passers and play-makers in 5A. They missed the playoffs last year but he should lead them to the playoffs behind his defense, facilitating and scoring.      92-[player_tooltip player_id='1337025' first='Drew' last='Hall'] Basha   One of the OPEN contenders added a new piece from Oregon. He can play on or off the ball and take some pressure off of Magee to score and make plays. A great addition.   93-[player_tooltip player_id='1124550' first='Cohen' last='Ferguson'] Campo Verde   The 5A defending champs lost a lot of players to graduation, but Ferguson will definitely pick up the slack with his scoring, senior leadership and passing.    94-[player_tooltip player_id='1159406' first='Kaden' last='Garber'] Chandler   A lot of turnover in the East Valley for the Wolves but Garber should be their lead go-to guy with scoring and distributing. He is ready to step up and lead them to the 6A playoffs.    95-[player_tooltip player_id='1735336' first='Michael' last='Johnson'] Highland   The defending 6A Champs lost almost every player last year but Johnson is one of the few with real experience. He will be very important for the teams development and should average around 15 ppg.    96-[player_tooltip player_id='1482164' first='Desean' last='Middlebrook'] Mesquite   The glue guy of the team defends nearly every position and will score it from inside and out. He is hard to take off the floor and he will help the Wildcats get back to the 4A playoffs.   97-[player_tooltip player_id='1285501' first='Cezer' last='Sotomayor'] ALA Gilbert North   Sotomayor has to sit 9 games or probably would have been higher on the list. He will immediately impact them in scoring and giving them a much needed extra ball handler who can make plays for one of the 4A favorites.   98-[player_tooltip player_id='1124549' first='Jaelen' last='Green'] Gilbert   A very balanced roster of players, but not many can do what he does. He will defend nearly every position with his length and toughness plus score. They are one of the best senior duos in Tucson and Tyree is long and athletic to defend. He will help put them in the 4A playoffs and a possible deep run.    101-[player_tooltip player_id='1483885' first='AB' last='Mendoza'] Catalina Foothills   The big man will be their anchor inside on defense and be one of their top scorers with his skill and strength. They will compete in 5A behind his strong play.      102-[player_tooltip player_id='1193887' first='Rhys' last='Walcott'] Eastmark   One of the top scorers of the team and in 4A. The junior guard looks to average nearly 20 points per game this season and lead them back into the 4A playoffs and hopefully make a deeper run behind his shooting.   103-[player_tooltip player_id='1876010' first='Dayton' last='Foster'] ALA-West Foothills   A dynamic smaller guard scores and makes plays for his smaller school. His breakneck speed and skill makes him into one of the better 3A teams.      104-[player_tooltip player_id='1620346' first='Joshua' last='McManaway'] McClintock   One of the sleeper 5A teams possible leading scorer this season will be McManaway. The young guard should breakout onto the scene with his sweet stroke from deep.     105-[player_tooltip player_id='1540144' first='Quintin' last='Ragland'] Tucson   A balanced 6A team down south has Ragland leading the charge on both sides of the court. He is their top defender and he will score and get them back into the playoffs.    106-[player_tooltip player_id='1306051' first='Logan' last='Martinez'] Salpointe Catholic   A pure point guard had a little set back last year to injury but look for the senior guard to lead them back to the 4A playoffs with his passing, decision making and shooting.    107-[player_tooltip player_id='1986868' first='Luke' last='Padilla'] Seton Catholic   An improving 4A team has two seniors to lean on with Padilla and Garcia. Padilla is instant offense with skill and savvy. He will lead them in scoring most likely and get them into the playoffs.   108-[player_tooltip player_id='1674465' first='Lamar' last='Anderson'] Dysart   The younger brother is coming. He seems to improve leaps and bounds every year. He will be impacftul to score the ball from all levels to be one of the sleeper 4A teams to make a deep playoff run.   109-[player_tooltip player_id='1781819' first='Blake' last='Jones'] Coolidge   One of the 3A contenders is led by the two-way threat of Jones. He is athletic, rebounds, blocks shots and scores it from inside and out. He will be a tough cover for anyone in 3A.    110-[player_tooltip player_id='1832786' first='Marcus' last='Murray'] Sunrise Mountain   An older team last year lost a lot to graduation. Look for this new group to get back into the 5A playoffs led by Murray. He will guide them with his passing, rebounding and scoring. He makes it easier to play with.   111-[player_tooltip player_id='1818723' first='Fernando' last='Vazquez Lima'] Yuma Catholic   A nice inside and out threat will be the inside anchor to a top notch 3A team. He may end up averaging a double double with points and rebounds and he will be the toughness for the Shamrocks.   112-[player_tooltip player_id='1570816' first='Payton' last='Lapping'] Desert Ridge   A very balanced group of seniors was hard to pick one but Lapping will most likely be their leading scorer and one of their top rebounders. They can lead on him during stretches with his overall scoring and shooting and get them to the 6A playoffs.   113-[player_tooltip player_id='1491234' first='Gage' last='Lindsey'] Red Mountain   One of the teams that can win the East Valley region is Red Mountain. They will be led by Lindsey with his inside and out play. He will bring a lot of attention and will make his teammates better and get into the 6A playoffs.   114-[player_tooltip player_id='1483891' first='Jackson' last='Woolley'] Mesa Mountain View   Woolley handles some of the point guard duties and is also one of their leading scorers. He makes smart decisions with the ball and can score from all levels. He will help guide them back into the 6A playoffs.   115-[player_tooltip player_id='2249730' first='Conway' last='Cummard'] Mesa   A combo guard is another that plays the lead role often on this team and will be their leading scorer this season. He has a burst to get into the paint and usually makes the correct play or will score it. He will defend and play the right way to lead them into the 6A playoffs.   116-[player_tooltip player_id='2249642' first='Travon' last='Howard'] ALA-West Foothills   A nice compliment to Foster. He can play on or off the ball and score it from all three levels fairly efficiently. He has good size and the coaches son will be vital to their playoff run in 3A.   117-[player_tooltip player_id='2250252' first='Sebastiano' last='Patane'] Yuma Catholic   One of the better teams in 3A looks to be one of their go-to guards without their top PG from last year who moved out of state. He can score from all levels and will lead them on a deep playoff run.   118-[player_tooltip player_id='1305183' first='Kyle' last='Mott'] Ben Franklin   A top-10 3A team will be led by the sharp shooter Mott. He can also make plays for his teammates and the sneaky athlete will lead them into the playoffs.   119-[player_tooltip player_id='1494765' first='Tarrell' last='Green Jr'] Highland Prep   One of the more athletic players in the state and definitely in 2A. Not many have his quick bounce to explode up and dunk it, or most importantly for this team, block shots and rebound.   120-[player_tooltip player_id='1241536' first='David' last='Yourkoski'] Cicero Prep   One of the top scores in 1A averaged almost 26 points per game. He is a true inside and out threat and looks to get them back into the playoffs and make a deeper run as they lost to eventual 1A Champ NVCA in the Elite-8.   121-[player_tooltip player_id='2134454' first='Kameron' last='Pippen'] Palo Verde   An improving 3A team could be the sleeper of the conference this season with Pippen guiding some scorers around him. His court vision and on-ball defense will set the tone every game.   122-[player_tooltip player_id='1216991' first='Sagith' last='Vargas'] Rancho Solano Prep   The pure point guard of the talented 2A team guides them with his facilitating and scoring. He plays from the neck up and he will get them back into the playoffs for a possible deep run.   123-[player_tooltip player_id='1306044' first='Jake' last='Centner'] Flagstaff   The do it all wing will carry them most nights and play all five positions for them. He makes plays, shoots it from all levels and will defend from inside and out. If the Eagles make a 4A playoff run, he will be the main reason.   124-[player_tooltip player_id='2039488' first='Tion' last='Wright'] Carl Hayden   Their top scorer and shooter can go on his own personal runs. He will take a lot of pressure off of his teammates to put points on the board quickly and lead them into the 6A playoffs.   125-[player_tooltip player_id='1178336' first='Santino' last='Esquivel'] Carl Hayden   The young team is starting to gain some steam and Esquivel is their top two-way player on the roster with tough on-ball defense and scoring. Look for the Falcons to make a deep 6A playoff run.   126-[player_tooltip player_id='1393223' first='Adam' last='Chaffin'] Trevor Browne   The junior forward looks to continue the success he had last year as one of their leading scorers and the top shooter of the team and try to lead the 6A team into the playoffs this season.   127-[player_tooltip player_id='1986808' first='Asher' last='Perez'] AZ College Prep   A growing program keeps improving each season it seems. Perez may end up doubling his production from last season and be one of the 4A breakout performers and they will lean on him during stretches of the season.    128-[player_tooltip player_id='2039506' first='Isaac' last='Sdobnev'] Cienega   With the loss of some front line seniors last year, Sdobnev will need to step up. He can defend many positions, scores from all levels and will rebound the ball. He will be very hard to take off the floor for them to make a 5A playoff run.   129-[player_tooltip player_id='1366585' first='Makai' last='Frazier-Taylor'] Hamilton   The dynamic lefty scorer will be one of the team leaders in scoring. He is quick and athletic and can fill it up to lead the Huskies back to the 6A playoffs for a possible deeper run.   130-[player_tooltip player_id='1382611' first='Desmone' last='Brooks'] Peoria   The quick guard will look to double his production from the previous year. A few players graduated and transferred out and he should lead the team in scoring and possibly lead this team into the 4A playoffs.

Another season is upon us this week and especially next with many teams first games of the season.
