The high jumping Batson Jr served notice early he was going to be a factor, with a lob dunk early in the game, after that it was more high flying dunks, reverse layups, and other strong moves around the rim for points, in transition, or half-court. We saw him drops 3’s from the corner, drive the baseline, use other angles gliding his way in for finishes at the rim. He had 27pts.

Anthony had 39 points (2/4 3P, 7/9 FT), 15 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals on Tuesday night in Notre Dame Prep’s tough overtime loss to Desert Mountain. He was just about impossible to stop in the painted area in this one as Batson Jr. exhibited tremendous body control, soft touch from a variety of angles, and the ability to finish at the rim through contact. Anthony also made defenders think twice about challenging him at the rim after several powerful dunks showcasing his athleticism.
