Jones impressed with his slashing ability scoring the ball effortlessly while on the move. He does a nice job touching the paint and made a living at the charity stripe connecting on most of his chances from there. Jones also impressed with his playmaking and was able to make offensive chances occur for his teammates. I would like to see him improve on his perimeter shot-making consistency and also his ball security. Jones should be a priority for low major programs and would be a steal if he fell in the lap of a division one junior college.

Incredible scorer from all three levels. Plays through contact and can heat up in an instant. Runs the floor well creating space and transition offense opportunities. Capable of taking over a game and being the dude on the floor as the go to scorer. I think he can play anywhere in the country if he wanted to. He has the strength to guard all 5 positions and quickness/intelligence to guard 1-3.

A skilled and versatile forward who can score from all three levels — knocking down mid-range jumpers, stretching the floor with threes, and finishing athletic attacks at the rim. He plays under control and reads the floor well, consistently creating opportunities for his teammates with smart, timely passes when the ball is in his hands. Defensively, he takes pride in guarding multiple positions, using his size, athleticism, and instincts to disrupt plays and make an impact. He also rebounds the ball well on both ends, showing a good motor and willingness to battle inside.

Jones at times looked like a man amongst boys. While he was making the perimeter shots that he’s typically known for he also got to the lane consistently. When he did get to the lane, he either finished through contact or drew the foul. He also contributed on the boards as well. 

An exceptional passer, he knows how to find his teammates and get them open shots. A highly versatile player that can play positions 1-3, and I believe he can excel at these positions at the next level as well. He operates well in the mid-range area and can also shoot the 3 with confidence, which he has really improved on during his high school career. He has a good, tight handle on the ball, allowing him to navigate effectively. Additionally, he plays off the ball well and rebounds the ball efficiently. He is good at getting downhill and finishing through contact, making him a constant threat on offense.
