One of the top prospects nationally in the 2027 class certainly looked the part on Thursday evening with a dominant performance to help Dynamic Prep advance to the semis. Spears Jr started the game aggressive by catching the ball in the mid-post area and going to work. When Spears can get going from the right side of the rim to his left hand, it’s usually a bucket. Spears Jr’s touch has improved significantly with multiple baseline mid-range jumpers and going 9/10 from the free throw line. Each time I watch Spears Jr he has improved in some aspect and that’s why he’s a top prospect nationally in the class of 2027.
