Last year as a junior, Kerrigan averaged 15.4 points and 8.5 rebounds a game leading his team to a 26-2 record and a second place finish in state. Conor finished a great 17u season with an Indiana State offer and a visit to Oral Roberts. First team all state player last year.

Kerrigan has always been a steady presence, but his growth this summer has taken his game to another level, especially with the confidence he’s shown offensively. Known as a tough and rugged defender and rebounder, he has now added a versatile offensive package that continues to make him a more complete player. Whether he’s consistently knocking down shots from the perimeter or attacking and slashing off the wing, he’s showing a much more well-rounded offensive skill set.

One of the biggest improvements has been his ability to relocate and find space on the perimeter, creating more opportunities to let it fly or make the right read when defenses close out. Conor has also finished through contact at a high level over the last month and developed into more of a volume scorer overall.

His impact on the UAA Circuit throughout both the spring and summer has continued to raise his profile and grow his name among college programs. The offers continue to pour in for Kerrigan, and he firmly looks like a low- to mid-major prospect moving forward.

The 6’6 190 pound wing went to Atlanta last weekend and earned scholarship offers/college opportunities from Vermont and MSU-Denver. Kansas City and Oral Roberts out of the Summit also offered Conor after the high school June open period.

The final open period started this morning and Kerrigan is in Louisville with his KC Run GMC team. They won their first game today and have a second tonight. Canisius, Colorado State, Brown and Air Force are some of the other schools looking.

Kerrigan is one of the most versatile and toughest players in the state, and he does it with an unselfish approach. He’s more than comfortable and always capable of doing whatever is needed to help his team find success. This spring, he’s played mostly as an interchangeable piece — screening, initiating offense, and even handling the ball at times. He’s been effective scoring around the basket, both in traffic and as a cutter finding open space. Conor’s feel and IQ on the floor seem to separate him from other players, as he consistently gets the most out of his frame and athleticism, often outthinking opponents. His impact hasn’t stopped there, as he’s guarded nearly every position on the floor with success and had breakout games as a rebounder on both ends.

Kerrigan had the full range of his offensive skill set on display on Sunday at UAA Session II. The 6’6″ forward found a lot of success facing up and driving it to the basket. He would drive left to spin back right, whip his man in a straight line to his right, or turn his drive into a post move and score around the basket. His unique combination of athleticism, skill, and strength presented major matchup problems in the game we had a chance to watch on Sunday. It was easy to see why Kerrigan is considered one of the top prospects in the state of Kansas.

Kerrigan had a strong showing in Kansas City during UAA Session I, rounding out and complementing a talented roster of guards and perimeter players. Playing bigger than his frame, he’s shown he can stretch opposing forwards away from the rim and find creases in defenses when operating in two-man actions. Conor’s ability to play physical and rugged on both ends of the floor — especially defensively and on the glass — allows him to function as a true interchangeable piece. With his growing perimeter game, both as a shooter and as a wing playmaker, you’re starting to see a more complete version of Kerrigan emerge, with plenty of time left to continue showing next-level programs what he can do. What better way to put it all on full display than this weekend in Ohio at UAA Session II. I expect Conor to show an expanded, more methodical approach — particularly on the offensive end.

Kerrigan’s weekend was defined by strong, rugged play on both ends. He brought a physical presence as a rebounder and defender while flashing moments on the offensive end. He helped initiate action with effective screening and dribble handoffs, found space, and showed he could play through contact inside while also stepping out when needed. He battled on the glass and added another dimension with the way he pursued the ball. From a physicality and effort standpoint, he was all over the floor at times, playing with a consistent motor throughout.
