Smith was a nice addition to the Cardinals roster last season and surely looks to be the future of the program. Elton already has a good look to him for his young age.
Smith simply glides all over the floor contesting shots on the defensive end and rebounding everything in sight on both ends. He plays the game so active with his quick leaping ability and ability to run the floor like a guard. Elton is very skilled when it comes to passing the rock. He has all the tools to be a special one down the road that’s for sure.
Smith ran with a few teams on the Grassroots Circuit this past spring and summer.
Highlights
Stockman is a shifty guard for the Falcons and Head Coach Jay Reid. Braysen shares the backcourt with his brother Maddox Stockman Maddox Stockman 5’9″ | PG Ben Lippen | 2027 State SC at times. He tends to show a quick trigger from downtown with his shooting stroke.
Braysen will tuhe corner very nicely and change directions to race by defenders. Stockman really plays well in the open court with his ability to get to the cup. He’s the son of Columbia International University Head Coach Tony Stockman who played at Clemson University and Ohio State University.
Highlights
Riley is a left-handed forward who might not be very well known outside of Orangeburg County. Tilden “T” didn’t run on the Grassroots Circuit this past year at all. Riley is a 3-sport athlete for the Indians while also excelling as a wide receiver/free safety and a baseball player.
Tilden finishes very well around the basket with his ability to play aggressive and keeping the ball up high after claiming it off the glass. Riley averaged 14.9 ppg and 10.5 rebounds for the Indians this past season.
Skinner is certainly not big in size, but he makes up for it with plenty of confidence. Harrison plays the game with ice in his veins at times it seems. Skinner averaged 8.8 ppg this past season for the Eagles.
He keeps the ball low to the deck and usually directs the traffic as a pass first guard. Harrison is a very capable shooter from behind the arc with his ability to make shots. The Eagles should look to make a good push this season in SCISA Class 3A with Skinner in the lineup.
Highlights
Slawson plays for the Panthers legendary Head Coach Pat Eidson who currently has 911 career wins. Jonathan is a tough-minded guard who has no problems sacrificing his body for a charge or jumping on the deck for a 50/50 ball.
Slawson is a bit of streaky shooter at times but is capable of running off a few from time to time. Look for Slawson to lead the way for the Panthers in the years to come in Summerville.
