Continue ReadingBraydon Jacob was able to show off his complete game Saturday during CP Magic’s first two games. As the starting guard, he came out and set the tone of the offense, finding guys on the wing and getting them into a rhythm early on. Which helped open up his game offensively, Braydon is a knockdown shooter that handles the ball just well enough to catch defenders off guard to break opposing guards down.
Highlights
Josiah’s game continues to get better and better each time I see him and you can the game has started to really show down for him. With that, he is able to see plays develop before other guards, giving him an advantage on both ends of the floor. He’s really good in transition when teams are trying to stop the break. Over the summer I’ve seen a different side of him defensively, refusing to get scored on and forcing guards into their second and third moves.
Surely Siraaj Ali Siraaj Ali 5’11” | PG Overland | 2025 State CO is in the conversation for most improved this summer as he has constantly shown is he one of the best all-around guards in his class, dominating on the offensive end of the floor. Showing off his ability to score from all 3 levels of the floor with consistency making him one of the toughest players to guard during the course of the game. What has also come with his high-scoring output is he becoming more comfortable on the defensive end of floor. He has started to be more active in passing lanes and creating more opportunities for his team on offense.
DaMarcus Burks DaMarcus Burks 6’4″ | SG Lakeville South | 2024 State MN is a point guard’s worst nightmare when he is at the top of the key waiting for you sitting down on defense, he is going to force you into a tough spot of you aren’t comfortable handling the ball under pressure which usually ends with him stealing it and making the highlight play on the other end of the floor. After he has scared opposing team’s guards defensively, he going to attack them on offense getting downhill and finishing at the rim, as while as knocking down the 3 ball when left alone.
Dai’Juan Nunley
Dai’Juan Nunley
Today I got very familiar with Dai’Juan Nunley’s game and what he is able to bring to the team as a lead guard and all-around person. As a go-to guy for 7070 Elite he holds the keys to the team offensively, with his coach trusting him to make the right reads to get the team the best looks each time down the court. Which is exactly what he did Saturday, most of the time he was the best look for the team knock down shots from all of the floor giving his team momentum going into each game.
