Ali yet again was the offensive engine for Overland, where the vast majority of attempts from that end of the floor flowed through him. The incoming senior guard is primed for a huge year at Overland, steadily refining all facets of his perimeter game, the guard is a talented athlete within the class. Capable of contorting his body on mid-air finishes around the rim, the guard does a phenomenal job while working with right angles. This is all alongside his consistency creating space for perimeter shot attempts, efficient within his spots.

The most impactful name with PLUTO’s top EYCL team, Ali is a smooth ball handler even against pressure. Effective splitting two or attacking a tight lane, he brings quick reactions and even more exceptional skill to the table. When provided a scoring opportunity off the catch, he was lights out behind the arc. Certainly primed for a big summer and deeply intriguing upcoming season with Overland.

In the latest of Ali’s supreme shot creation, the guard went 11 for 11 from the free throw line for 24 points in a victory over Arapahoe. Effective changing pace while remaining a scoring threat from all three levels, Ali has taken himself to a whole new level this season. Given Overland’s depth of tall forwards, this group will be a sneaky team come playoff time.

Leading 6A juniors in assists per game at 6.9, Ali has attracted plenty of attention in the halfcourt, making everyone’s lives easier while handling the rock.

Capable rising up into shots from deep range or stepping through two defenders, the guard is showing immense value as the engine that powers Overland’s halfcourt offense. His faciliating abilities will be a fascinating development this season.

Surely Siraaj Ali Siraaj Ali 5'11" | PG Overland | 2025 State CO is in the conversation for most improved this summer as he has constantly shown is he one of the best all-around guards in his class, dominating on the offensive end of the floor. Showing off his ability to score from all 3 levels of the floor with consistency making him one of the toughest players to guard during the course of the game. What has also come with his high-scoring output is he becoming more comfortable on the defensive end of floor. He has started to be more active in passing lanes and creating more opportunities for his team on offense.

Siraaj turned in an incredible performance in a lopsided victory over a tough D1 Minnesota 2026 team. I was so impressed with the way he carried himself with the ball in hands, never looking rushed or fazed. He always looked to make the right plays and never turned the ball over. Whether it was his scoring or his facilitating, opponents had no answer for him whatsoever. He has a super tight handle and made it look easy blowing by defenders. He can also shoot it from outside or get to the rim and finish through contact. Ali was never the tallest player on the floor but dominated the entire game.
