The Adidas 3SSB Finals continued on Thursday in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Let’s take a look at what South Carolina’s Best displayed on Day 2 of Action.
Team Loaded Virginia 15U Advance to Quarterfinals
Team Loaded Virginia 15U was far-and-away the most impressive team to me today. A big portion of that was due to the play of Indian Land’s

. Jones was used both as an Off-Ball and Off-Ball Guard but found a way to make a positive impact on the game nearly all day long. Team Loaded Virginia knocked off both AZ Storm and NY Wiz Kids to move on to the 15U Championship Bracket Quarterfinal against Atlanta Celtics at 12:45 on Friday.

Upward Stars 3SSB
15U played in a thriller with Southern Assault in the Championship Bracket Round of 16 this evening. Upward got a big game from Hillcrest’s

also had solid games, but it was Coleman who found the ball in his hands late and made clutch shots to keep the Stars in it. Unfornately, it wasn’t enough as Southern Assault came out on Top 60-56 and advanced to the Quarterfinals.
Upward Stars 3SSB
will drop down to the 9-16 Bracket and will take on Midwest Basketball Club at 5:45 Tomorrow.
Upward Stars 3SSB 17’s & 16’s Struggle on Day 1 of Bracket Play
Both of the Older Upward Groups had Underwhelming stars to Bracket Play today. Upwards Stars 16U took on BABC in the morning, and BABC came out on fire, going on a 13-0 run early. The Stars looked much better in the Second Half, but BABC’s Size was overpowering at times, and they came out on top 62-38. The connection between

was a bright spot, as they exchanged setting each other up for shots on an Early Second-Half Run. The 17U Group had similar struggles. They fell at the hands of Midwest Basketball Club 61-41 in the afternoon. DJ Shine, who recently announced his plans to transfer to Brewster Academy, had a solid outing leading the charge for the Stars. Both teams drop down the 17-32 Bracket, 17U will take on Dream Vision at 5:45 and 16U will take on Team Rose at 3:15 on Friday.
