Below are five southeastern Pennsylvania based predictions for the upcoming Hoop Group Atlantic City Jam Fest.

1) Team Final Red 16u Will Make a Deep Run

This TF squad can destroy opponents at all three levels which is why we like their chances of running the table this coming weekend. Guards [player_tooltip player_id='1481147' first='Madyx' last='Gruber'], [player_tooltip player_id='1865291' first='Isaiah' last='Marshall'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1764304' first='Gabe' last='Hornberger'] provide the perimeter firepower. Controlling the boards and providing interior scoring are forwards [player_tooltip player_id='1202408' first='Dywane' last='Chess'], [player_tooltip player_id='2047741' first='AJ' last='Hines'], and [player_tooltip player_id='1867331' first='Tommy' last='Kelly']. Plus, this roster boats stretch-4 prospects Zane Conlan and Keith Washington. Keep a close eye on Conlan and Chess. Both were outstanding at Philly HS Live.

2) [player_tooltip player_id='1187959' first='Larenzo' last='Jerkins'] Plays at a Ridiculous Level

[player_tooltip player_id='1187959' first='Larenzo' last='Jerkins'] (BW Elite) played outstanding basketball during the June live period. However, his athleticism, speed and skill set are tailor made for the grassroots circuit. He proved that back in April by posting a monster spring season and being named as a 1st Team All-HGSL selection. Jenkins' length, mobility, and instincts are super impressive. His transition and half-court finishing skills are elite. Plus, his turn around 6-to-8-foot jump shot is unstoppable. We expect Jerkins to register big numbers in Atlantic City.

3) PA Hoops Academy 17u Games Are Going to be Popular with College Coaches

We make this prediction with confidence because this roster is stacked with college prospects. Unionville's talented trio of James Anderson, [player_tooltip player_id='1850283' first='Ryan' last='Brown'], and Charlie Kammeier are a key part of this squad. As are multi-skilled guards [player_tooltip player_id='1867332' first='Duke' last='Cloran'] and Corey Meade. Cloran and Meade were two of June's biggest stock risers. Slashing wing scorer [player_tooltip player_id='1589201' first='Micah' last='Hill-Benitez'] is one of the best kept secrets in the region. High level small forward [player_tooltip player_id='1441524' first='Calvin' last='Szoradi'] holds down the lane for this group.

4) East Coast Power 15u's Perimeter Trio Kills it in Atlantic City

Combo guard [player_tooltip player_id='1454260' first='Silas' last='Graham'], point guard Keron Booth, Jr. and 2027 wing Nick Harken are going to give opponents fits at the AC Jam Fest. Graham is a sneaky athletic, three level scorer who can also serve as a secondary ball handler. Booth is a smooth floor general. He can score and distribute, but more importantly he rarely commits a turnover. Harken (Malvern Prep) is a 2027 “playing up” with ECP 15s in July. He can shoot threes, play in the open court, and owns a filthy mid-range game.

5) “New” Mt. Pleasant Bulldogs 17u Team is Going to be a Problem

The MPB 17u roster has been tweaked and they are now more dangerous than ever. Of course, this lineup returns standouts such as floor general [player_tooltip player_id='1477751' first='Emeer' last='Coombs'], 3-level scoring threat [player_tooltip player_id='1678657' first='Nate' last='Townsend'], dominant small forward [player_tooltip player_id='1477735' first='Naeem' last='Colston'] and 6'7” wing [player_tooltip player_id='1990916' first='Anthony' last='Lily']. But MPB 17s has also added 6'6” scoring machine Derrick White, outstanding combo guard Ryan Kull and stock rising 2025 [player_tooltip player_id='1865352' first='Talasi' last='Henderson']. The addition of those three prospects should take this squad to the next level and allow MPB to rack up wins down in AC.
