For the second spring live period PH NorCal was in Arizona. On April 28-29 we were at the Real Arizona Live Spring Finals at Crismon HS. Sunday April 30th we spent the day at the EYBL Session II, at Legacy Sports Complex. It was an opportunity to see many of the top prospects in the class of 2026 compete at a high level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1702934' first='Tyran' last='Stokes'] 6'7 Forward, Vegas Elite 17, Prolific Prep

Stokes has a versatile set of skills that will only improve going forward. He's one of a few in the 2026 class that plays up at 17U. He works well in the center of the court, with his ability to handle, distribute, and see the whole court when he gets the ball. He makes good decisions with the ball, he doesn't force shots. He goes strong from different angles, he can knock down the corner 3. He has good timing going after blocks and rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='1702936' first='Andrew' last='Hilman'] 6'3 Guard, Oakland Soldiers 15 EYBL, Archbishop Riordan HS

Hilman came pretty close to being dominate at the 15U level against quality competition. He scored in the paint with length and toughness often playing through contact. He used a jab, and quick first step on the dribble to attack, and finish drives in different ways, and from different angles. On defense he defends bigger players, took a few charges, and was the teams top rebounder.

[player_tooltip player_id='1702937' first='Rashod' last='Cotton'] 6'1 PG, Paul George Elite 15, Modesto Christian HS

He's a quality guard with a good set of tools to work with. He's aggressive with the ball as he looks to put points on the board, yet he can switch gears and become a guard with excellent vision and passing to involve others. He can hit the mid-range jumper off the dribble, finish drives into the paint, and drop a 3ptr in rhythm.

[player_tooltip player_id='1703073' first='Rodney' last='Westmoreland'] 6'0 PG, Oakland Soldiers 15 EYBL, Dougherty Valley HS

He's a quality point guard that makes good decisions with the ball. He has the ability to run and settle an offense, and the speed off the dribble to create shots for himself, and get into the paint. He moves and cuts without the ball. He has the vision to make long strong passes up court.

[player_tooltip player_id='1703078' first='Caeden' last='Hutcherson'] 6'3 SG, Oakland Soldiers 15 EYBL, ST. Ignatius HS

He was one of the better shooters from NorCal in this age group. From short corners jumpers all the way out past the 3pt line, Hutcherson looks to put the ball through the net. He uses his screens and a dribble, with a quick release for mid-ranges, he hit 3's in transition. He can use his dribble and spin moves to get into the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='1703083' first='Isaiah' last='Davis'] 5'10 PG Oakland Soldiers 15 EYBL, Salesian college Prep

He's a good ball handling guard with patience up top to run a team in half-court. He has the quickness to penetrate, and dish, or use a floater, and paint jumper for points. He has quick hands to generate steals, and good lateral movement to put pressure on the ball handler up court.

[player_tooltip player_id='1711573' first='Cade' last='Krueger'] 6'0 Guard, Oakland Soldiers 15 EYBL, Monte Vista HS.

He has good fundamentals, and plays a balanced floor game. He's an excellent passer with vision, and moves well without the ball. He can finish drives with either hand, or plant two feet, and draw the foul. He has a good shot from behind the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='1703103' first='Mohammed' last='Kamara'] 6'5 W/F, Clutch Elite 2025, Capital Christian HS

At 6'5 Kamara seems to be in the process of expanding his game away from the basket. He had some success handling and attacking the paint from the perimeter. He'll shoot the jumper when open, he led the transition break after rebounding with good passing. He has good bounce going after rebounds, and strength to finish in the paint. He's a good court runner.

[player_tooltip player_id='1703096' first='Elias' last='Obenyah'] 6'2 Guard, Oakland Soldiers 15 EYBL, Salesian College Prep.

He's a long and still growing prospect with improving skills. He contributes in different ways. He uses his length to help on the boards, his handles, and passing to lead the transition break. He has long strides off the dribble to get into the paint, fill and finish in transition. He has the lengthy arms and lateral movement to defend full, and half-court.

[player_tooltip player_id='1709150' first='Alhassan' last='Idrissu'] 6'7 Forward, Oakland Soldiers 15 EYBL

We saw Idrissu with another team a few weeks ago. He has good size at this level and was active in and around the basket. He's a bit on the raw side but has some tools to work with. He works well high post and into the low block areas. He's strong going up off two in the paint, he'll get rebounds, and defend at this level. He's on the Wright's Watch List.

[player_tooltip player_id='1711480' first='Ibrahim' last='Monawar'] 6'2 Guard, Oakland Soldiers 15 EYBL, De La Salle HS

This was our first time seeing Monawar get significant playing time. He had good play from the guard position. First and foremost he takes care of the ball, he has good handles and quality passing, he's a ball mover. He hit a couple of 3's plus a big one down the stretch. He's a good free throw shooter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1707506' first='Alex' last='Kuminga'] 6'7 Forward, Oakland Soldiers 15 EYBL, Archbishop Riordan HS

He's long, thin, a bit on the raw side, but has the tools to take his game to another level with some seasoning. He gives good effort, he can knock down the elbow jumper. He had a couple of drives from the baseline, and he hit the short corner jumper. He has long strides taking it to the basket. Being on the thin side he did get some rebounds and changed a few shots. He's on the Wright's Watch List.

[player_tooltip player_id='2059879' first='Ahmari' last='Otis'] 5'10 Guard, Team Rampage 16U National, De Anza HS

He's a newcomer oozing with confidence. He has the speed, handles and ability to create shots from all over the court. He's fast in transition, he has a burst to get by defenders and into the paint from the perimeter. He has good hops, and fearless attacking the rim with bigs in the way. He has the speed and toughness to be a quality defender. We're going to see more of him.
