Brahim Monawar 6’2” CG: Efficient, Reliable and Built to Win
Brahim Monawar doesn’t need flash to get noticed—his game speaks through efficiency, IQ, and winning plays. A true combo guard, he’s comfortable running the offense at the 1 or playing off the ball as a knockdown shooter at the 2.
He has a smooth, repeatable shooting stroke and can hit shots off the catch or the dribble. But what makes him even tougher to guard is his ability to get into the paint, where he has an arsenal of craft moves such as, creating space with a reverse pivot or spin before rising up for a clean look. It’s quiet but surgical.
What separates Brahim is how sound his decision-making is. He consistently makes the right play—whether it’s kicking out to a shooter, dropping a dime on a drive, or pulling up when the defense gives him space. He plays the game with purpose and doesn’t waste possessions.
A lot of what he does flies under the radar, but Brahim Monawar is the kind of player every coach would wants in clutch moments.

Ibrahim provided a huge lift in De La Salle’s win over Corona Centennial on Saturday night. Monawar finished the game with 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 threes, a few of which were very timely and important in securing the victory. He scored the ball efficiently and effectively and never looked like backing down against the defending Southern Section champs. Ibrahim can fit in almost any offense because of his ability to play with or without the ball and the spacing that he provides to a half-court offense with his three point shooting.
