NorCal’s top shooting guard showed off his shot making abilities. Whenever he found a shot within the flow of the offense, he was shot ready to knock down 3’s on the catch and shoot with range. He used his one or two dribbles to drop mid-ranges, and 3-pointers with the consistency that comes with good shooters. He picked up another DI offer this weekend.

He has great touch in and around the paint when attacking the basket, and his aggression frequently earns him trips to the free throw line where he is extremely effective. Hutcherson’s ball above average ball handling ability allows him to create separation on the perimeter and get to his spots at an advanced level.

He’s a riser in the 2026 class, showing us he can do more than just knock down 3’s consistently. He’s handling the ball more in the open court. He’s using hard dribbles, body, and taking on defenders driving into the paint, on balance and finishing around the rim, and free throws. He earned a couple of DI offers with his overall play this weekend. Game 1: 7/13 14pts, 4R, 4A

He was the best 2026 prospect at this event and a top 5 player regardless of class. Hutcherson has the offensive tools to put points on the board in all the ways you can in a showcase. He’s a 3 level scorer with body control. He’s a ball handler that gets into the paint, he uses his dribble to create shots for himself and others along the perimeter. He makes his mid-ranges off the dribble. He knocks down 3’s in the flow of the game. He’s underrated as a handler, and passer. He was good in transition basketball. He’s a DI prospect. 3.0 GPA
