One of the best microwave scorers in the class, Sam can score a lot of buckets, really quickly. Sam should be a good college player whenever he signs. Ballard will really miss him next year.

Long and lean, Frazier can score at a high level or distribute. In my opinion, Sam is a steal for a scholarship level school this spring.

Frazier is a big time scorer at the point guard spot. He’s skinny but he’s not afraid to attack the rim and take contact at the point of attack. He moved up 10 spots from 34th to 24th.

There may not be a better microwave scorer in Kentucky than Frazier. Whether it’s high school or AAU, I’ve seen Sam go on 8-0 and 10-0 runs by himself when he gets cooking. And he does it quickly. An effortless three point shooter with deep range, Sam can be a really good college player. Especially if he learns to love the weight room this fall.

One of the most popular names from the weekend at The Stage, Frazier was a big part of Kentuckiana Hoops-Sprigg 2025 going 4-0 on the weekend in dominant fashion. The 6’3″ guard from Ballard High School averaged 19 points per game while connecting on 12 total three-point shots. In terms of college potential, Frazier was a name that really caught some attention with his play.

Dominant start for Frazier vs IL Mavs as he was responsible for Kentuckianas first 14 points. Started things off with an acrobatic layup and hit a 3 shortly after. But many of those points were creative off assists. As least 3-4 in the first few mins. Later used his lengthy wingspan to poke balls free and convert on the fast-break. Midrange game was on-point too. Name any possible scenario a point guard might be in, and he did that almost to perfection. A true bucket-getter Saturday evening who did it from all three levels.

Another breakout prospect in Louisville this season, Frazier makes his move from 55th to 31st and is one of the only constants for the Bruins up to this point in the season. Sam has shown he can heat up in a hurry and has “in the gym range” on his jumper once he gets hot.

Sam was the reason that Ballard dug out of an early hole and came back to win on Saturday. At one point, Frazier went on a personal 8-0 run in about 45 seconds of game time. He was very impressive and looks like a future scholarship player. If he can learn to love the weight room, Sam has a very high ceiling.

Frazier had a breakout season for Ballard as a Sophomore, becoming a reliable third scorer at 11 points per game and posting impressive 58-43-70 shooting splits while doing so. Looking forward to next year, it’s likely that Sam is going to be the focal point of the Bruins offense. Expect his stock to continue trending up.
