Talon Jenkins
Talon Jenkins
Talon is a key piece to this young Trojans team. They are in the middle of the pack this year within the NWC standings, but could sneak into the 1A regional play if they can pull off some upsets. Jenkins has been playing very well alongside Jaeger Fyfe Jaeger Fyfe 6’1″ | SG Meridian | 2025 State WA . Jenkins is lengthy and has good handles. He attacks the rim nicely and can shoot it well. His release is extremely quick, forcing defenders to stay on their toes.
Arion has been playing stellar for Marysville-Getchell. He is undersized but doesn’t play like that on the court. He attacks the ball hard going to the bucket, with either hand. His court vision is very advanced for his age, as he finds his teammates nicely. He can step out and hit the three ball consistently too.
Highlights
I know Landen is ranked within the top 40 in his class according to PrepHoopsWA. But he is still going under-the-radar in my eyes for West Valley. He has great length and has a killer crossover that’s very hard to guard. He can step out and hit the three ball EXTREMELY well. He has a beautiful shot and doesn’t need much space to get his shot off. Watch out for him as the years go by.
Highlights
Brandon had a very good summer with FOH so I knew he was a candidate to be a stand out this season. He shoots the ball from long range extremely well. He has a lightning quick release and is not afraid to pull it from deep, anywhere behind the three point line. Another aspect of his game that stands out is his court vision. He reads defenders well and finds his open teammates at the right times.
