The Panthers were led by [player_tooltip player_id='1060179' first='Mason' last='Brown']'s 20 points, while [player_tooltip player_id='1164271' first='Frenelson' last='Atlius'] adding 18 of his own. For Centennial, [player_tooltip player_id='1578334' first='Ty' last='Owens'] was the lone member in double figures finishing with a game-high 22 points on 8-of-16 shooting from the field. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Wednesday, January 11: Columbus 73, Mater Lakes Academy 60: </strong>In a matchup featuring two Top 10 teams in their respective classifications, the No. 11 ranked team in the nation Columbus Explorers pulled away in the fourth quarter to secure the win. Mater Lakes Academy was led by 6'0 sophomore point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1301710' first='Anthony' last='Knowles'] finishing with 22 points and 7 rebounds in the loss. On the other side, the Columbus Explorers were led by 6'9 sophomore power forward [player_tooltip player_id='1301714' first='Cameron' last='Boozer'] who had a big second half finishing with 25 points and 13 rebounds in the win. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Friday, January 13: Victory Christian Academy 66, Calvary Christian 63:</strong> It was a down-to-the wire type of game, that featured two of the best dynamic junior guards in the state of Florida featuring 6'2 [player_tooltip player_id='1055782' first='Lorenzo' last='Cason'] against 6'1 [player_tooltip player_id='1055592' first='Daniel' last='MacGregor']. Prior to the game, Calvary Christian honored MacGregor for recording his 1,000th career point. However, Cason rallied Victory Christian Academy with a steal and a lay-up with 1.5 seconds left to put the Storm ahead 64-63. After Calvary Christian struggled to get the ball in bounds, Cason knocked down a pair of free throws to give Victory Christian Academy a huge 66-63 win on the road. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
