Sawyer Jones played great on the offensive end, contributing in multiple scoring ways. He knocked down multiple threes, using a smooth release. He showed an explosive quick-first step to get from the three to the rim. This led to him drawing a couple of fouls, where he got free throws and knocked down 2/2. He also showed patience by not being fazed by a double team and delivering a perfect pass to an open teammate for an easy assist. He was a crucial part of his team’s dominance in their win.

JaShawn Davison impacted the game in multiple ways for Wagoner. He showed the ability to shoot by knocking down a three and the ability to score at the rim. He grabbed a rebound and displayed that he can push the pace. His passing game was also good, as he three a pass down the court to a cutter for an easy assist. On the defensive end, he came up with a steal and played great on-ball defense. It was a solid game on both ends of the court for him.

Nate Frazier turned it on in the second half for Morris tonight, as he tried leading a comeback that came up short. He was efficient around the rim, utilizing post moves and spins to create an ounce of space to get the shot off and for it to go in. He saw a size advantage and exploited that, as well. Not only was he scoring consistently inside of five to eight feet, but he was running in transition to score. The offensive end was not the only thing that he did well, as he showed the ability to fight through screens and guard on the ball. It was a good offensive game and solid defensive game for him.
Connor Dow Connor Dow 6’6″ | SF Broken Arrow | 2023 State #252 Nation OK struggled shooting the ball, but still displayed why he is committed to a school like Oklahoma State. He was absolutely dominant on the defensive end. He harassed the ball-handler the whole game and came away with four steals. Wherever the offensive player went, he was there, two steps ahead. He also came away with a couple of blocks. He showed patience and good court-vision to constantly break the press. Despite his shooting being off in this game, he contributed by shooting efficiently from the free throw line, finishing an alley-oop dunk, and making good passes to cutting teammates for an assist. He added a few rebounds to his box score, as well. His team pulled away with this for an easy victory.
David Howell David Howell 6’4″ | PG Broken Arrow | 2025 State #329 Nation OK was impressive and lived up to the hype of why he is the #11 ranked sophomore in the state. His playmaking ability was elite, as he would make a pin-point pass from half court look easy. There were a few times that his teammates would cut to the basket and he would place the pass perfectly, with one of them resulting in an electrifying alley-oop dunk by Connor Dow Connor Dow 6’6″ | SF Broken Arrow | 2023 State #252 Nation OK . Some of the bounce passes he made left me shaking my head because of how impressive they were. He knew where to place the ball and then executed that. One play he came up with a steal and delivered a perfect bounce pass from 30 feet out to a cutter. He came away with three steals in this game, with one of them coming from him playing the passing lanes. He was also a great on-ball defender, as he did not get fazed by hesitation and dribble moves. He can also shoot the ball, as he showed the ability to hit a pull-up jumper and another one where he hit a fadeaway, mid-range shot. It was an impressive performance for him, as he showed that he can contribute in a variety of ways.
Justice Sutton Justice Sutton 6’5″ | SF Broken Arrow | 2023 State OK was lights out to start off this game. He had the first seven points of the game, picking those up in a variety of ways. He picked up the first two points by shooting 2/2 from the free throw line (2-0). He then showed a hesitation, drive, and finish with a reverse layup to pick up the next two points (4-0). To top off this 7-0 run, he knocked down a three (7-0). In the first quarter, he outscored their opponent 11-5.
