About Landon
Expert Analysis
Tony Roe | Prep Hoops Scout
Davis is one of the most dominant rim protectors the state has seen, especially at the 4A level, in recent years. A mobile, athletic 6-8/6-9 forward with impeccable timing, he can play in a variety of defensive coverages and is a switchable defender. On the offensive end, he’s an above-the-rim finisher who is a good enough shooting threat to be able to play in pick-and-pop actions. He’s averaging 14.2 points, 9.9 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 3.4 blocks per game on 60% shooting.

is one of the most versatile big men in the state. He really can do about anything you ask him to do at the power forward position. He is an elite post scorer with great touch and footwork, while also being a great driver with his vertical pop, handle, and body control. He can shoot in the midrange or beyond the three-point line. Passing is another strong suit of his, as he is amazing at making layered reads and launching skip passes for open looks. And he dominates the glass on both sides of the ball with his length, strength, and leaping abilities. All of these factors make him an impenetrable wall on defense, both around the rim and on the perimeter, where he is a formidable opponent. He blocks heaps of shots, gets steals, and anchors the defense with presence alone.
