Continue ReadingHis performance in their matchup against the Jags was easily his best performance of the season as he was dominant scoring and rebounding the ball, finishing with 14 Points & 13 Rebounds. His athletic ability was also on display as he had one of the top highlight plays of the day with a poster dunk in the first half that had fans leaving their seats. His potential to be dominant is clear, the next step for him will be to bring that consistently each game.

He didn’t waste any time getting going in their matchup with the Dawgs, accounting for the first nine points which all came from three-point land. His perimeter shooting would stay consistent throughout the day as he led his team in scoring with 18 Points.
This season has been a struggle for their squad as far as wins and losses, but he’s stepped up and been one of the bright spots for this squad. He scored a game high of 22 Points and pulled down 6 Rebounds in their matchup with The Pirates. The Dawgs are a team that will only get better as they get closer to the season and Barnes will be one of their main contributors.
His team came into this matchup as the underdogs, but he provided a big-time performance that helped his team pull off the upset win over the team that was ranked #1 in the league at the time. He finished the game with a game high of 20 Points as well as 4 steals but what impressed us the most was how hard he played and the confidence he plays the game with at such a young age.

The improvements that he has made over the past year has been impressive and his performance on Saturday led to some early interest from a JUCO program. Despite his team facing a wide margin early on in their matchup with the Knicks, he continued to play hard which led to some solid production scoring and rebounding the ball.
