Was dominant from start to finish in their matchup with EE Smith HS, scoring 28 Points while pulling down 14 Rebounds in their win on Saturday. He can battle inside the paint but also has the ability to step outside to knock down the trey ball.

Barnes is another stock-rising forward prospect with some versatility to go along with his game. He’s shown he can create off the bounce on the interior as well as on the perimeter given his ability to handle the ball, shoot from the perimeter and finish around the rim. He plays a physical brand of basketball that’s hard to find these days, which makes him worthy of attention from DII and DIII programs in the region.

Barnes is another prospect for college programs to get eyes on in North Carolina’s 2025 class. He’s putting up 20.4 points per game for the Eagles, currently 9-5. He’s proven to be quite the inside-out threat for FA given his size, athleticism and versatility on the floor at 6-foot-7. He’s another prospect for DII programs in the region to get eyes on given his activity and impact on the hardwood.

Putting together his best season of his high school career so far, his production and versatility are both areas that college coaches should love. He has legit height for a college wing, shoots the ball from three-point land at a high clip and is putting up his best rebounding numbers of his career.

Barnes is finding his way in the Fayetteville Academy frontcourt with his ability to attack inside and out. He’s producing 21.3 points per game with the Eagles off to a 4-2 start on the 2024-25 season. He’s showcased his ability to establish himself in the post area and make things happen as both a scoring and passing threat. He’ll be looked upon to be a top contributor for FA this season given his hot start.

He continues to make his case as to why he is a player that college programs should be dropping in to see sooner than later. He knocks down shots from three point land with high efficiency, rebounds the ball well and makes plays above the rim when needed. There is plenty to like about what he currently brings to the table and his potential to be a very solid college player.

Took home the Conference Tournament MVP honors after putting together several solid showings and stepping up to log starter minuets as the team deals with injuries. He has the ability to knock down shots from outside but can also use his height to score inside the paint.

Barnes was impressive in the Terry Sanford backcourt despite the result. He showed he could knock down shots on the perimeter and operate off the bounce with a slew of made buckets and showed he could get his nose dirty on the defensive/rebounding front. He’s a 2024 prospect with promise in the 910 area.

Put together one of his better all-around games of the season in their matchup with TCS. He knocked down shots from three point land at a nice rate, rebounded the ball at a solid rate and got a good amount of his offense within the flow of the team offense. He seems to be more comfortable with his role on this squad and we only expect for him to continue to progress over the remainder of the year and into the summer.

Got off to a quick start in the first half, knocking down his first set of three-point shots to help his team offensively. We like the amount of upside he has due to his size, strength and skill set; college coaches are already showing their interest.
