Expert Analysis
Charles Clark | Prep Hoops Scout
His team got off to a very slow start and faced a deficit from start to finish but what we can appreciate is the fact that he kept fighting. Scoring 21 out of 29 Points in the second half, he helped his team cut the lead in half at one point, but his squad would eventually come up short and will be on the lookout for a rematch with HCA next week.

He’s coming off a big performance against a talented Ambassador Christian squad which saw him put up 29 points, seven assists and four rebounds this past week in a 71-70 loss. Despite the result, he’s put college programs on notice of what he’s capable of at the point guard spot as a scorer and facilitator.

One of the few True PG’s that you will see, he looks to make the right pass just as much as he looks to score if not more. He has an outstanding IQ for the game, defends well without fouling and is a coach on the court for his team.

Tatum is an underrecruited point guard prospect for DII and DIII programs to get to know at Fayetteville Academy. He’s due to break out in their rotation in 2024-25 after averaging 9.6 points, 4.2 assists, 2.3 rebounds and 1.6 steals per contest as a junior.
