5 – Kavon Bradford Kavon Bradford 6'2" | CG Benson | 2023 State OR , Benson
Bradford has proven himself to be as effective with the rock in his hands or coming off of the ball. The 6-foot-2 guard is at his best slashing to the basket and finishing in acrobatic ways around the hoop but is also dangerous in the mid-range. He’s also arguably the best inch-for-inch rebounder in the state. Bradford enters his fourth year as a starter at Benson.
9 – Kalim Brown Kalim Brown 6'0" | CG Tigard | 2023 State OR , Tigard
Brown has settled into a spot on the wing alongside his brother Malik, focusing on scoring the basketball. He’s proven himself dangerous in catch-and-shoot situations but has really mastered the one dribble to the left, pull-up jumper. The 6-foot guard can also get to the basket to score for himself or create for others, and is always a factor on the defensive end.
13 – Christian Green Christian Green 6'1" | CG Cleveland | 2023 State OR , Jefferson
Arguably the most electric leaper in the state, you can always count on Green to throw down a highlight dunk or two. But the 6-foot-2 guard’s game goes beyond flashy highlights as this summer he showed the ability to convert tough drives to the hoop and also knocking down open jumpers from long range. Green has enrolled at Jefferson this fall where he should be a key player under coach Pat Strickland.
18 – Isaiah Crane Isaiah Crane 6'1" | CG Jesuit | 2023 State OR , Jesuit
One of the top perimeter defensive players in the state, Crane makes an impact without necessarily piling up big numbers. Offensively he’s certainly a factor as well, operating well within Jesuit’s motion offense to pick his spots getting buckets from tough drives or pull-up jumpers. Crane is a candidate for Metro League POY honors.
22 – Marcus McKinney Marcus McKinney 6'0" | CG Gresham | 2023 State OR , Gresham
McKinney will be at Gresham this year, where he should fit in alongside the Gopher guards as he’s able to fit in anywhere in the backcourt. The senior guard can score in a variety of ways but also use his ability to create off the dribble to facilitate for others.
