retains his #1 spot in the final 2026 rankings after showing out all season long with the 5A State Champion: Coronado Cougars. He is a versatile piece on offense thanks to his shooting, slashing, and overall scoring instincts. Which allow him to pick apart the defense. He also has the ability to score in bunches, giving the Cougars the chance to build leads. Or chip into them. Oba also had the responsibility of guarding some of the top players in the country this season, and he did a great job of limiting their production. All in all, he has the traits needed to contribute at the next level. And I’m very much looking forward to seeing him in his Missouri State threads.

delivered a strong shooting performance for the Cougars. He splashed in a pair of threes in the first half to go along with a spinning finish at the rim and a smooth mid-range jumper. In the second half, Oba buried his third triple and added four more points at the line and inside the arc. Overall, he consistently put pressure on the Gaels’ defense and showed zero hesitation letting it fly.

has taken a noticeable leap as Coronado has moved deeper into their schedule. His ability to fill it up is incredibly fun to watch, and his confidence is clearly at an all-time high. Oba can let it fly from beyond the arc (already knocking down 25 three-pointers in 11 games). And he also thrives in transition, where his dunks routinely give Coronado a jolt of energy they feed off of. In addition to scoring, he’s been impactful on the defensive end. Using his energy and instincts to limit opposing scorers and force turnovers. Look for the Missouri State commit to keep this momentum rolling. And if he does, he could very well cap off his high school career with some extra hardware.

went off for 29 points against Mojave. He scored from all three levels, and defenders had a difficult time preventing him from getting clean looks. He notably threw down a couple of dunks, knocked down three triples, and made the Rattlers pay at the free-throw line (going 6-of-8). On the other end of the court, Oba was flying around and forcing turnovers, finishing with three steals and two blocks. Overall, it was a very solid performance, and I liked how he competed.

utilized his marksmanship skills to drop in 14 points for the Cougars on Saturday. He was finding quality opportunities to let it go and made 4 of his 8 3-point attempts. Oba also used his energy and size to limit Centennial’s scorers, altering shots, picking off passes, and collecting rebounds. His consistent play on both ends was impressive to watch.

was able to do all of the other stuff necessary for them to squeak out a key victory over Garner. Oba’s defensively versatility was on display as he was all over that end of the floor. He finished with 11 Points and 8 Rebounds in the victory. He was a huge reason behind the 15 forced turnovers with his frenetic energy on the defensive end of the floor. 5 of his 8 rebounds were on the offensive end, getting his team huge extra possessions in a slower lower scoring game. He helped his team outscore Garner 16-8 in the final frame to come back and win. The Missouri State commit is looking to lead Coronado to a championship in their first John Wall Holiday Appearance.

, has officially taken over the top spot in the 2026 rankings. He performed at a high level all fall and has continued to improve every aspect of his game. Including his shooting from beyond the arc. I also like how he’s filled out his frame and how he confident he’s become. Expect him to have a great and entertaining senior season.

leaked out in transition for a couple of big dunks at the Halloween Hoops tournament. He also was using his vertical on defense to alter and block shots. All in all, Oba performed well and it was great to see him making such high impact plays on both ends of the court.
