Brandon Russell, 6’4 CG Pennington
Russell is the highest newcomer as he checks in at 19. The 6’4 guard is at his best attacking the basket as he uses his strong frame to finish through contact around the rim. Russell is more than just a slasher as he can also score in the mid-range and has a nice release on his jumper. He has a nice handle and moves well without the ball in his hands. Russell’s ability to do a variety of things on the offensive end is something that will help his stock in a big way this summer.
Peyton Miller Peyton Miller 6'1" | PG St. Peter's Prep | 2025 State NJ , 5’11 PG St. Peter’s Prep
Miller is a crafty floor general who is dynamic with the ball in his hands. The 5’11 guard has a tight handle, which he uses to blow by defenders in the half court and finish in a variety of ways around the basket. Miller changes speeds exceptionally well, allowing for him to get into the paint and make plays. He can knock down open jumpers from behind the arc and gets deflections on the defensive end due to his quick hands. Miller’s ability to control the pace of the game is what makes him one of the top lead guards in the 2025 class.
Nas Hart Nas Hart 6'8" | PF College Achieve | 2025 State #159 Nation NJ , 6’7 PF Keyport
Hart is the top newcomer in the frontcourt at 22 and is one of the more intriguing prospects in the class. The lanky 6’7 forward is a good finisher around the basket and is able to draw contact down low. Hart can put the ball on the floor and is working on becoming more consistent with his jumper. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and has the athleticism to defend multiple positions on the floor. Hart is a forward prospect to track over the years as he can impact the game in a number of different ways.
Destine Evans Destine Evans 6'6" | SF Pennington | 2025 State NJ , 6’6 SF Pennington
The second Pennington player on the list, Evans is a forward prospect to keep an eye on this summer. The 6’6 forward is a good finisher around the basket and can explode off the floor for dunks. Evans has a nice release on his jumper and can knock down open jumpers on the perimeter. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his athleticism to make plays on the defensive end. Evans is just scratching the surface of his potential and is a forward to watch over the next couple of years.
Shawn Spencer Shawn Spencer 6'2" | SG Saddle River Day | 2025 State NJ , 6’2 SG Bergen Catholic
Spencer is a guard prospect to watch as he gets to showcase his skillset this summer. The 6’2 guard has a good handle, which he uses to get by his defender and finish around the basket. Spencer is more than just a slasher as he can also knock down jumpers from behind the arc and is capable of shooting either off the bounce or catch. He can run the offense and can also play without the ball in his hands. Spencer’s ability to play on and off the ball is something that will help his game in a big way this summer and fall.
