, 6’1 CG Lutheran East 2023 – Wildcats Select 17 U: Head was productive against Midwest Basketball Club, making an impact on both ends. When Head was playing in a smaller usage role with a focus on making open shots and attacking closeouts, he was efficient from the floor. Head also had some impressive moments defensively on ball by using his active hands. Head certainly turned some heads based on his play this weekend.

, 6’6 SF Cincinnati Taft 2023 – Midwest Basketball Club 17 U: Griffith simplified his role with Midwest Basketball Club and it’s paying off big time for him. Griffith makes shots from the outside and scores often in transition with his athleticism. While I’d like to see Griffith attack the basket it the half-court more often, it’s still encouraging to see him limit his turnovers and shoot efficiently from the floor. Griffith recently cut his list to five, Ohio State, Cincinnati, UCLA, Kansas and Alabama. We’ll see which marquee program gets Griffith’s commitment.

, 6’1 PG Centerville 2023 – Midwest Basketball Club 17 U: Cupps showed out in Indiana, the state where he’ll be playing college basketball in Hoosier Red. Cupps did what he usually does which is play tough defense, take care of the basketball offensively and make outside shots. Against Wildcats Select he had a few impressive 3-pointers, as Cupps usually does most of his offensive damage in the mid-range. Cupps extending his range is going to be crucial for him to score early in the Big 10.
Kyler D’Augustino Kyler D’Augustino 6'1" | CG Albany Alexander | 2023 State OH , 6’1 CG Alexander 2023 – Mid Ohio Pumas 17 U: D’Augustino had a big time scoring weekend for the Pumas, with multiple 20+ point games. D’Augustino moves well without the basketball, getting a lot of easy layups off cuts and good ball movement from his teammates. He also shoots it at a pretty high level from downtown, taking the isolation skills he showcased during the high school season against better competition.

Mid Ohio Pumas
17 U: Jacoby was assertive in the paint during the first time I ever got the opportunity to scout him in person. Standing at 6’8, Jacoby blocked and altered a lot of shots at the rim. I also enjoyed seeing his aggressiveness to go for the dunk in the paint, throwing down two in one game that I caught. Jacoby looked the part of a scholarship level big this weekend, it will be interesting to see which programs get involved throughout the spring and summer.
