Prep Hoops Circuit Program Profile: EG10

In this article:
The Prep Hoops Circuit will get underway this weekend with the Grit Region Kick-Off down in Louisville, Kentucky. The first live recruiting period will begin the following weekend with The Stage in Indianapolis, but several circuit programs will get a warmup event in this weekend in Louisville first. Over the next couple of weeks our staff will be previewing programs running on the Prep Hoops Circuit. Today, we take a look at the EG10 program.
Run by Eric Gordon Sr., the father of former Indiana Mr. Basketball and current Houston Rockets guard Eric Gordon, EG10 has been a fixture on the Indiana grassroots scene for over a decade. Running on the Prep Hoops Grit Region Circuit once again this summer, EG10 will feature a talented 2023 roster, two very good 2024 teams, and a 2025 group with several high-level varsity contributors. Let’s dive on in to the rosters.

Speaking with program director Eric Gordon Sr., he was really excited about the talented that came together for the 2023 squad. The two prospects to really lookout for here are

down low. Carson averaged 19.9 points and 4.8 assists per game for an Anderson team that won 20 games. The strong left-handed guard is one of the best under-the-radar playmakers in Indiana’s Class of 2023. There will be plenty of college coaches following him this spring and summer. As for Ball, he is fresh off of winning the Class 3A State Championship with a fantastic performance of 17 points and 20 rebounds. He will attract a lot of attention as one of the best rebounders on the Prep Hoops Circuit.
Looking at some other players on the roster,
Devon Woods

is another intriguing prospect with an athletic 6’5" frame. Arnold was a starter for a Ben Davis team that made it to the Regional Final and essentially served as their "glue guy." He is poised for a breakout summer.

. Reich is part of a very strong sophomore class at Brownsburg and was a key rotation piece for the Bulldogs this season. King had a breakout year at Hammond Central as a long, athletic guard that can really do damage in transition. Lewis is one of the best point guards in the class that has all of the strength and toughness you could ask for in a floor general. There are plenty of prospects on this roster that are just starting to scratch the surface of their potential and it will be fun to watch them grow on the Grit Region Circuit.

who made 47 three-pointers on 39.2%. Harvey averaged 15.1 points and 8.4 rebounds at Seton Catholic. This is going to be really fun group to watch with a lot of solid prospects and after speaking with Coach Busick, expectations are high for the spring/summer.

(Decatur Central) all got valuable experience in their first season of high school basketball and contributed at a high level. There is a nice mixture here of playmaking in the backcourt, athleticism on the wings, and size around the basket. Under head coach Justin Taylor and assistant James Caldwell this group will likely be one of the better 2025 rosters on the Grit Region Circuit.
