One of the more fluidly athletic forwards in the senior class, Nelson has developed into a highly sought after small college prospect. He currently holds offers from DePauw, Goshen, Hanover, and Wabash. The 6’6″ forward from Franklin Community High School handles the ball well in the open floor and is a very good passer for his size. When he gets stronger at the college level his game will take off even more. Nelson was one of the biggest stock-risers in this update going from #91 to #60 overall.

Nelson was one of the more impressive forwards from Tuesday night’s action at the PAC League. The 6’6″-6’7″ Franklin High School product moves around really well for his size initiating offense out on the perimeter for the Grizzly Cubs. He was consistently used in handoff action, kept the ball moving, and then would pick his spots to use his blend of size and athleticism to turn the corner and attack the rim off of the dribble. After a really good spring, Nelson continues to be an intriguing small college prospect that will be highly sought after for months to come.
