Koat Keat Koat Keat 6'9" | PF Crean Lutheran | 2022 State #100 Nation CA-S , 2022, Crean Lutheran – The term “do-it-all” player is sometimes a misnomer when describing high school prospects, but for Keat it’s the perfect fit as the 6-foot-8 forward impacts every column on the stat sheet. The UC Santa Barbara-bound senior has great feel for the game and elite passing IQ both when pushing the ball in transition and finding open shooters of cutters on the block. Keat is a very unselfish player, but can get downhill and to the basket to score or put points on the board out of face-up and drive situations.
Michael Davis, Jr., 2023, San Joaquin Memorial – This was the first time I was able to get a look at Davis, Jr. with his high school team and, in addition to him being in better shape since our last viewing, his aggressiveness on the offensive end was nothing short of impressive. The 6-foot-7 forward has great touch with either hand around the basket and has a variety of back-to-the-basket moves in his arsenal. Davis does a great job of carving out space and teeing up on guard penetration, then catching and finishing drop-off passes in the paint.
Nils Cooper Nils Cooper 6'5" | SF Crossroads | 2023 State CA , 2023, Crossroads – Cooper continued his improvements and ascent among SoCal 2023 prospects, mainly due to his defensive prowess. The 6-foot-5 wing has great instincts as an on-ball and help-side defender and usually draws the assignment of guarding the opponents best offensive player. Cooper uses his length and timing to get deflections and steals, rebounds the offensive and defensive glass, and just seems to have a nose for loose balls.
Tyler Harris Tyler Harris 6'6" | SF Granada | 2023 State #210 Nation CA-N , 2023, Salesian – Harris presents an intriguing combination of perimeter skill-set to go along with his positional size and versatility. The 6-foot-7 junior showed the ability to play on or off the ball with his ball skills, all-around basketball IQ and capacity to get the Pride into their half-court offense. Harris is most effective offensively as a slasher, driver and finisher in either transition or half-court settings and is a Northern California prospect Division I programs are already in on.
Vyctorius Miller, Crean Lutheran – Miller is a silky smooth scorer and playmaker who, despite all the hype and cameramen following him in tow, doesn’t force shots or offensive actions and allows the game to come to him. Miller was the Most Outstanding Player of the Nike Gold Division as he led the Saints to the division title with his efficient inside-out scoring, high IQ playmaking and willingness to do the little things to help Crean win games.
