One of the more athletic prospects in Kentucky, Jeremiah is a rim protector and rebounder who continues improving as a finisher. Godfrey has offers from NAIA, Juco and D2 schools that he’ll need to choose from soon.

Godfrey’s combination of length, athleticism, and motor caused nightmares for his opponents. He attacked the glass on both ends and swarmed opposing ball-handlers, which often led to steals. His defensive versatility allows him to effectively guard on the perimeter and in the post. Additionally, he displayed the ability to finish around the basket while skying for multiple alley-oops.

One of the more athletic seniors in the state, Godfrey threw down multiple alley-oop slams that got the Great Crossing faithful going crazy. Can also get on the rim from the dunker spot, Godfrey had one impressed left-handed dunk and was fouled on another dunk attempt with his left. While he provides vertical spacing with his athleticism and as a lob threat, where Godfrey makes his biggest impact is defensively. At his height, Godfrey has excellent feet to guard on the perimeter and bother high volume guards who can’t blow by him off the bounce. Rare to see a kid with his length and height be able to stay with players from the volleyball line and in but Godfrey has done it multiple times this post-season run. He’ll have more tough assignments thrown his way as the tournament continues and I have no reason to believe he won’t be ready for the next challenge.

A bouncy forward who contributes on both ends of the court for the favorites to win it all, Godfrey is a diamond in the rough whose best basketball remains in front of him.

Great Crossings coach Steve Page asks a lot of his Senior forward on both ends of the court. Godfrey has been up to the task. Whether it’s cleaning up the offensive glass or coming to run and jump press in the half court, Jeremiah has to do a lot over the course of the game. If the Warhawks are going to continue their magical run, Godfrey will have to continue performing at a high level.

One of the best athletes in the class, Godfrey has a lot of potential at the college level and is already used to being a very good role player for Great Crossing. Jeremiah will be able to contribute right away next year at the college level and just keeps getting better as time rolls along.

averaged 8.3 points a game last season and was second on the team in rebounding at 5.3 a game. Jeremiah was one of the many efficient Warhawk players, shooting 55.3%. He has already received several offers, including University of the Cumberlands and Georgetown College. Godfrey is 6’7 and can score, rebound, and play defense at a high level.

Mentioned recently as an X Factor, Godfrey is in the position at Great Crossing where he gets the benefit of playing alongside the two best players in the region. As a result, Jeremiah gets a lot of open looks on offense and is able to roam around and grab rebounds on the defensive end.

all holding D1 offers, it is the Senior forward that could be the key to a state title run for Great Crossing. Jeremiah may be the most athletic player in the 2024 class but he’s also added improved three point shooting to his arsenal and would be the go to player for most other schools in Kentucky. If Godfrey can be a solid secondary weapon on offense and provide rebounding help, the Warhawks will be a tough team to beat by the end of the season.

Jeremiah had a really big spring of AAU and earned multiple NAIA offers over the course of June. Godfrey is perhaps the best athlete in the class and routinely plays well above the rim. When his motor is going full speed, there aren’t many players in central Kentucky who can impact a game like Jeremiah does.
