While Huff’s teammate Trent Noah Trent Noah 6’7″ | SF Harlan County | 2024 State #139 Nation KY put on a show throughout the tournament, it was Huff that played a critical role in Harlan County’s run to the finals. He is an excellent playmaker that can handle pressure and create open shots for his teammates. He has the ability to get to the basket in addition to a consistent jump shot. Huff proved to be a top player in the 2025 class and will look to lead the team back to Rupp Arena next season.
Highlights
Godfrey’s combination of length, athleticism, and motor caused nightmares for his opponents. He attacked the glass on both ends and swarmed opposing ball-handlers, which often led to steals. His defensive versatility allows him to effectively guard on the perimeter and in the post. Additionally, he displayed the ability to finish around the basket while skying for multiple alley-oops.
An unsung hero for Great Crossing, Richardson effects the game in every facet. He is an efficient scorer with 3-point range that can also utilize his passing ability to attack the opposition. His length and athleticism allow him to gather rebounds and provide tough defense. Whatever the team needs, he’ll do it. He figures to play a major role for the team looking to continue their success next season.
Loy is the offensive key for an impressive Adair County squad. He runs the offense by delivering accurate passes to open teammates in transition and the half-court. The ball is always moving as he displays his quick decision-making and high basketball IQ. He is a very good driver, finishing through contact, and can knockdown shots out to 3-point range as well.
Highlights
Jennings proved that the gridiron isn’t the only place he shines in a battle against eventual state champion Lyon County. He is a strong, athletic guard that is a consistent shooter off the catch and dribble. His toughness is evident in his defense and rebounding ability. He finished with 12 points while accounting for multiple assists.
