There is plenty of room to make some picks!
Kaue Kalinowski Kaue Kalinowski 6'3" | CG Dade Christian | 2023 FL / Yaniel Rivera Yaniel Rivera 6'3" | SG Dade Christian | 2023 FL – Dade Christian (PH.369/358)
Kalinowski and Rivera both are 6’3 guards for the Crusaders. On paper, they both have the size to play the position. Both need to continue to shoot the ball better and improve on their athleticism.
Roland Majors Roland Majors 6'4" | SG Mater Academy | 2023 FL – Mater Acadamy (PH. 335)
Majors showed some ability for the Lions last season. In particular, the 6-foot-4 forward is a good rebounder. Against Mater Lakes Academy, Majors had nine points and six rebounds (four offensive). Overall, he averaged 3.5 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. While minimal numbers, Majors has offensive potential. I just want to see him do it on a consistent basis.
Trevor Bell Trevor Bell 6'4" | CG Wellington | 2023 FL – Wellington (PH. 312)
Bell could have an opportunity with a few losses to graduation. He’s 6-foot-4 so he has plenty of length to play guard. I also like his athleticism overall. Bell could be a surprise up in Palm Beach County.
Landon Suarez Landon Suarez 6'1" | CG Lanier | 2023 State GA – Riviera Prep (PH. 284)
A good spot for Suarez as he plays for one of the top teams in Miami-Dade County. The 5-foot-11 point guard has a good handle and some offensive upside. Suarez also plays with a good guard in Esteban Lluberes Esteban Lluberes 5'10" | PG Riviera Prep | 2022 State FL . Let him learn at a good program and see where it takes him.
Brennan Sands – Miramar (PH. 226)
The Patriots lost a ton of players to transfer from a season ago. That could give Sands an opportunity at point guard. The 5-foot-9 prospect has quickness and agility to attack the rim. Sands just needs to work on his awareness and overall shooting to be an everyday floor leader. I will keep an eye on him.
Tomas Koski Tomas Koski 6'4" | SF Mater Lakes | 2023 FL – Mater Lakes (PH. 218)
Koski has the look of a shooter with a long frame and arms. I’d admit, the 6-foot-4 forward didn’t connect as much as I would’ve liked last season from long range. It could have been adjusting to a new team. Koski previously played up in the Atlanta area. He has good form and another year to prove any doubters.
