Expert Analysis
Bret Swanson | Prep Hoops Scout
Bryson brings good versatility to the floor for the Lions. Travelle played at a few schools over the years before settling down in Greenville this school year. Bryson has good bounce and really connect from downtown when his stroke is on. Travelle really works to defend on the ball. He finishes well at the basket.

Bryson has quickly made a name for himself in the EYBL Scholastic as a premier shooter. He knocked down six threes in Legacy’s victory over Canyon International on Friday evening. Most of his success was as a spot-up shooter, but he also knocked down a couple off the dribble. His only non-three of the night was a mid-range jump shot that he knocked down after attacking a closeout. Travelle is also a good athlete, solid defender, and can help out on the defensive glass. He had 20 points and 5 rebounds in the Lions Day 2 win.

is a 2024 name due for breakout senior season with Mooresville High following the grassroots cycle. He’s a wiry prospect at 6-foot-4 that had a strong showing this past season with Mooresville and is set to do even more damage after a productive season on the EYBL stage with Georgia Stars. He put up 11.0 ppg, 3.6 rpg and 1.9 apg on the EYBL circuit while showing off his ability to get to the rim with pace and finish strong, even in traffic. As he shows his consistency shooting the basketball in 2023-24, look for DI and DII programs in the region to start drawing interest.

Bryson was really good in his Georgia Stars group’s first game against ProSkills, and backed it up with another solid performance against Mokan EYCL on Tuesday. He showed off his verticality and mid-range game we know him well for, but also showed he’s developing his shot from behind the arc as well. He knocked down a couple threes with his release continuing to look better and better. Defensively he was present with long length and ability to rise up and contest jump shots well. With his size, he will be a rapidly rising name to get to know if he can continue to put the jumper together like he has this week.

is a name that’s been solid on the EYBL front with the Georgia Stars through the spring. He put up 11.0 ppg, 3.6 rpg and 1.9 apg on the EYBL scene with them as he showed he could get to the rim and make plays in traffic on a consistent basis. As he shows he can knock down shots on the perimeter and mid-range with consistency, look for his recruitment to grow in the state.

moves up seven spots into the 77th spot within the 2024 class after his play at Mooresville High. He’s a shifty 6-foot-3 prospect that can operate at the guard/wing position given his ability to knock down shots in space and create off the bounce in the open floor. He was a first-team All-Conference selection after producing 17.2 ppg in the backcourt in his junior season. Look for him to be a presence on the Virginia Premier roster this spring/summer.
