Continue ReadingLast weekend key regional tournaments such as the KYDA Invitational (PA); Zero Gravity State Championships (PA); and Crossover East Coast Regionals (PA) pitted southeastern Pennsylvania’ 15U (2024) grassroots squads against some of the best regional teams on the circuit. The results were mostly positive for SEPA’s grassroots teams, but there is a shakeup within the Top 5 of this week’s rankings.
Below is the third edition of the Spring 2021 southeastern Pennsylvania’s 15U grassroots teams Top 10 rankings.
- Team Final EYBL: Last week after running up a 3-1 record at the MADEHoops Midwest Mania (IN), Team Final EYBL moved into the No. 1 spot. Now thanks to a 2-0 showing at the KYDA Invitational (PA) that included wins over the NY Rens & Team Thrill, they’ll stay there for a second straight week. Robert Wright III Robert Wright III 6'0" | PG Montverde Academy (FL) | 2024 State #35 Nation FL , Moses Hipps Moses Hipps 6'4" | SG AZ Compass Prep | 2024 State AZ and Mike “Deuce” Jones continue to impress.
- Philly Pride National UAA: Jeremiah White Jeremiah White 6'6" | PF Imhotep Charter | 2024 State PA , Ryan Williams Ryan Williams 6'3" | SG Malvern Prep | 2024 State PA and the rest of Philly Pride 15U Nationals had a “bye” last weekend. They play next at the Big Shots / Philly Pride event on May 8th & 9th.
- Philly Revolution: After winning the ‘chip at the Zero Gravity Phight for Philly (average margin of victory was 20.5 ppg.), Philly Revolution had a “bye” the last two weekends. This roster features Jalil Bethea Jalil Bethea 6'4" | SG Archbishop Wood | 2024 State #5 Nation PA and Josh Reed from Archbishop Wood. The Revolution are back on the court May 8th & 9th at Big Shots / Philly Pride event out in Oaks, PA.
- Team Final Red HGSL: After Jake West Jake West 6'1" | PG William Penn Charter | 2025 State #193 Nation PA , David Fridia David Fridia 6'6" | PF Allentown Central Catholic | 2024 State PA and TFR kept things rolling with a 3-1 record at the Hoop Group Pitt Jam Fest (PA), Team Final Red had a “bye” last weekend.
- East Coast Power (Danzig): ECP-Danzig jumps up to No. 5 after posting a 4-0 weekend at the Zero Gravity State Championships (PA). Combo Guard Ty Mishock Ty Mishock 5'10" | PG Spring Ford | 2024 PA was key all weekend and point-forward Eric Demyun scored 19 points in the ‘chip game
