SEPA Recruiting News:
Elijah Espinosa Elijah Espinosa 6'8" | PF Red Lands | 2024 State PA – 6’8″ / 2024 / Red Lands / York Ballers / Small Forward: In 2023-24 Espinosa averaged 11 points per game and led the Mid-Penn Conference in blocked shots with 77 swats. He is a long and athletic wing prospect with hops whose recruiting has surged of late. This past week he visited the University of Maine and received an offer from Lock Haven (D2).
Wayne Fletcher II Wayne Fletcher II 6'2" | SG Central Dauphin | 2025 State PA – 6’3″ / 2025 / Central Dauphin / York Ballers / Combo Guard: Fletcher is a speedy guard with a multi-faceted skill set. During his junior campaign, Fletcher posted 18.7 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals per contest. That stat line produced a 1st Team Mid-Penn Conference (Commonwealth Div.) nod for Fletcher. Last week coaches from Lehigh were on campus to meet with Fletcher.
Will Riley Will Riley 6'7" | SF Phelps School | 2025 State #29 Nation PA – 6’9″ / 2025 / Phelps School / UPlay Canada / Wing: Our No. 1 ranked 2025 prospect just trimmed his list of future destinations to four college programs and the NBL in Australia. The schools lucky enough to make the cut were Kentucky, Arizona, Arkansas, and Alabama. This season Riley averaged 28.7 points, 6.4 rebounds and 4 assists per game while shooting 37% from deep. Riley’s extraordinary season earned him the Non-PIAA State Player of the Year award.
Owen Schlager Owen Schlager 6'3" | CG Trinity | 2025 State PA – 6’3″ / 2025 / Trinity / Philly Pride UAA / Combo Guard: After his junior season, Schlager (23.7 ppg.) was a 3A 1st Team All-State selection as well as Penn Live’s Player of The Year. His recruiting continues to roll along as the new coaching staff at Loyola (MD) just extended him an offer. Schlager is an efficient, three level scoring guard with tremendous instincts.
Carter Wamsley Carter Wamsley 6'7" | PF Eastern York | 2025 State PA – 6’5” / 2025 / Eastern York / York Ballers / Wing: Wamsley is a point-forward prospect who led Eastern to the District 3 title and was named a 1st Team All-YAIAA (Div. II) selection. The combination of his size along with his passing and shooting skills creates serious match-up issues for opponents. This double-double machine recently traveled to University of Maine for a visit.
Jake West Jake West 6'3" | PG William Penn Charter | 2025 State #193 Nation PA – 6’2″ / 2025 / Penn Charter / Team Final EYBL / Point Guard: West was a 1st Team All-Inter-Ac selection who averaged 14.3 points per game in 2023-24. This electric point guard has played outstanding ball all spring at marquee events like the Donofrio Classic, MADE Hoops East Warmup and EYBL Session I. His fantastic performances in those runs helped add an offer from Siena to his growing pile.
SEPA Commitments:
Saleem Hudson – 6’1″ / 2024 / Dobbins Tech / BW Elite / Combo Guard: Over his last two seasons, Hudson (10 ppg. in 2023-24) led a basketball resurgence for the historic Dobbins Tech program. Now he will take those winning ways to Alvernia (D3). Hudson’s ability to score at all three levels and serve as a primary ball hander will be a welcome addition to the Golden Wolves roster.
Ryan Kull – 5’10″ / 2024 / SCH Academy / Mt. Pleasant Bulldogs / Point Guard: Earlier this week Kull committed to University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg (D3). The Bobcats are getting a true floor general who can run a team in transition or the half-court. As a nice bonus, Kull is highly accurate shooter with range well beyond the college arc.
