Farmville Central Guard Terquavion Smith Terquavion Smith 6'3" | CG Farmville Central | 2021 State #105 Nation NC & Forward Leontae Moye Leontae Moye 6'7" | PF Farmville Central | 2021 State NC : Smith is one of the better scoring Guards in the state and has showcased his scoring ability during the grassroots season. Moye is a player that can be dominant inside as well as stretch a defense out with his shooting. Farmville is losing two of their top players in Wright & Teel so these two will need to have big seasons if they hope to get back to the Championship.
Westover HS Shooting Guard D’Marco Dunn D’Marco Dunn 6'4" | CG Westover | 2021 State #75 Nation NC & Combo Guard Darius Jewell: This duo has not lost a game since they began playing together, finishing 30-0 last year with a state championship. Dunn is the #1 SG in the state and holds offers from a high amount of High Majors, he’s one of the more efficient players that you will see, scoring within the flow of a team offense in multiple ways. Jewell is more of a spark plug type of player, when Westover needed some offense he stepped up time and time again this season to score the ball well, especially from three point land.
Trinity Academy of Raleigh 2023 Wings Jakwon Moore Jakwon Moore 6'5" | SF New Life Christian | 2023 State NC & 2022 Wing Sam Perez Sam Perez 6'7" | PF Trinity Academy (Raleigh) | 2022 State NC : Both will be in their first year at Trinity but are already on the radar of college coaches. Moore is more of a slashing type of player that uses his athletic ability to blow by players and finish above the rim. Perez on the other hand has some athletic ability but is more of a three point specialist which is impressive considering he’s 6’7.
Berean Baptist Academy 2021 Guards Kelton Battle & Joshua Thompson-Parker: Battle will be the PG and is returning to BBA after a short time at FCS while Thompson-Parker was the leading scorer for the team last year with 22 Points a night. Battle is a strong PG with a nice IQ that can score but also facilitate & defend at a high level. Thompson-Parker is more of a player that will look too get his shot going as he has shown his ability to score from inside and out.
