High School Spotlight: Ben Davis Giants

The season is still a few months away, but it is never too early to look ahead at the high school season. We will be taking a look at some quick hitters, the top player(s), a potential breakout player, other roster members, and more for the upcoming season. The Giants were senior-heavy last year; however, McDuffey earned valuable varsity time and had a strong AAU season that will help prepare him for this year. McDuffey is a 6'3" point guard with great size on the ball who is smooth and can play well around the basket. Incoming juniors [player_tooltip player_id='2553901' first='Jasir' last='Rogers'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2420149' first='Nikolas' last='Reed'] are expected to be major contributors for the Giants this season. Rogers got some valuable varsity experience last season, while Reed showed over the summer that he could be a breakout player around the basket.
