[player_tooltip player_id='2918902' first='Alyo' last='Hawkins Jr.'] (pictured) was Mr. Clutch for Losee in their matchup against Servite. With just seconds remaining, he found open space behind the three-point line, received the pass, and buried the go-ahead shot. Servite missed a last-second full-court heave, sealing the win for the Lions. Beyond the game winner, Hawkins knocked down a few other timely shots and played quality team defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2434274' first='Elizjah' last='Scott'] brought his A game on Day 2. He was on fire from the perimeter and got downhill to convert tough finishes at the rack. His buckets gave his team real momentum. Defensively, Scott used his lateral quickness to apply ball pressure and played with intensity. All in all, I liked what I saw from him.

[player_tooltip player_id='2477281' first='DJ' last='Hunter'] had it going for the Lions on Saturday night at The Border League. He used his elusiveness and speed to create space, knocking down triples and pull-up jumpers. He has a knack for finding cracks in the defense, and his offseason work was evident. Hunter also showed his ability to distribute, driving and kicking to open teammates when the defense collapsed on him. Look for him to build on that momentum throughout his sophomore campaign.

[player_tooltip player_id='2412305' first='Nick' last='Odum'] consistently dropped in floaters, showing his scoring touch and advanced skillset. He shot over defenders with ease and put just the right amount of arc on his attempts. I also liked his work on defense, where he got into passing lanes and contributed on the boards. College coaches, you'll want to keep him on your radar.

[player_tooltip player_id='2624906' first='Damari' last='Sawall'] made noise for the Knights as usual. He created separation with deceptive moves, and his opponents likely had a headache by the end of the game trying to figure out how to guard him. On defense, Sawall was a pest and made his matchup uncomfortable throughout the game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2637192' first='Markus' last='Burton'] impressed in Mater East's win on Saturday. He always seems to play with hunger and determination that is hard to match. On offense, he's a threat to score from the outside, and he'll attack the basket with a purpose. He also brings intensity to the table on defense and isn't an easy guy to get around.
