The 2028 combo guard consistently found catch-and-shoot opportunities on the perimeter and capitalized, draining four triples in PFB’s win over the LV Stars. Burton didn’t take possessions off on defense either, pestering his man and making deflections. All in all, it was an impressive performance from him.

put together a strong performance against Sunrise Mountain. He got going early with a transition basket and a three-pointer, then continued to apply pressure by getting downhill and drawing contact. Beyond his scoring, Burton was active on the defensive end and made life difficult for opposing ball handlers.

Burton is now #25 in the 2028 rankings after playing both JV and Varsity this season. He is a quality shot maker and can score from all 3 levels. I’m a big fan of how under control he is when getting his pull-up jumpers off. Burton isn’t just a scorer though. He is an intense competitor on defense, and doesn’t give his opponents much room to operate.
