Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo | Team 10 Evals

All of our events at Prep Hoops Indiana generate a lot of attention across the state. However, the growth of The Expo is a major point of pride for our team as we wrap up the summer. This year we double the size of the event bringing in nearly 120 prospects in the Classes of 2027 and 2028. Also, more than just the raw numbers, the level of talent was very impressive. We hosted over 40 Top 100 prospects today and had college coaches from the Division II, Division III, and NAIA levels in attendance. This was truly one of the best exposure events of the year that you could attend as a prospect.   As always, we will be unleashing a ton of content over the next week or so coming out of The Expo. We will have evaluations of every player in attendance post on a team-by-team basis. Also, top performers, new names, and more will be highlighted. Here is a full evaluation for Team 10. [player_tooltip player_id='2539946' first='Eli' last='Gilpin'] is a talented offensive prospect that is excellent off the dribble. Quick first step with long strides gets him to the rim and where made athletic finishes. Confident shooter with a quick trigger and active cutter off the ball putting together one of the better offensive performances that I got to see.     First viewing of 2028 Kokomo Guard [player_tooltip player_id='3660669' first='Kimoni' last='Wright'] and loved the pace he played at all day long. Long and skilled guard that was really good getting downhill and playmaking when getting two feet in the paint. Crafty in the midrange showing a soft touch on his jumper and floater. Played with patience in the pick and roll his court vision made him impactful on the floor without needing to score.     Smooth Southwest Indiana Guard that got busy offensively all camp long. Shifty handle that was really good getting to his spots and making plays. Crafty finisher around the basket while also showing nice court vision making the right reads off the dribble. Also has nice range on his three-point shot getting hot in one game showing his microwave scoring ability.     The physical 6'2” guard was a highlight waiting to happen as he had arguably the play of the entire camp with a poster dunk in transition. Beech Grove 2027 Guard [player_tooltip player_id='3165690' first='Adreus' last='Armstrong'] was relentless getting downhill absorbing contact well and finishing strong at the rim. Game changer defensively with his length and athleticism. Aggressive in passing lanes creating turnovers and getting out in space where he thrived.     Smooth Guard out of Bishop Luers that plays with tons of confidence and is impactful on both ends of the floor. [player_tooltip player_id='2560422' first='Zen' last='Szaferski'] is a talented offensive talent that did a good job balancing scoring and facilitating. Good frame that was able to use his body to get to his spots while playing on balance. Confident shooter off the catch, but showed he's best when getting downhill and creating.     Another confident guard that I've gotten to see multiple times throughout the spring and summer and showed he has continued to get better and better showcasing an all around game at Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo. University 2028 Guard [player_tooltip player_id='2411078' first='Jaxen' last='Bennett'] scores is a fantastic shooter with deep range and a repeatable stroke. Showed his ability to create space off the dribble and get into his shot. Was able to get going in front of me and he was a problem that the opposition didn't have an answer for.     A hard nosed scrappy defensive minded forward that made his presence felt with his energy and effort at Prep Hoops Indiana: The Expo. Physically framed forward that showed his versatility on the defensive end guarding multiple positions and rebounding at a high level. Ran the floor well and was able to get easy looks for his team in transition. In the half court, he showed some intriguing perimeter skills with his ability to drive closeouts and finish at the basket or make the right decision when the defense rotates.     Big framed inside-out forward that has a bit of an unorthodox game, but was productive in the games I got to see of him. [player_tooltip player_id='2978646' first='Jayden' last='Abplanalp'] of Triton Central. Showed versatility on the offensive end as a threat in the pick and roll with good hands, solid footwork, and a soft touch. Also showed his ability as a pick and pop threat as a spot up shooter from the perimeter off the catch.     Intriguing high motor Junior Forward out of Indianapolis Lutheran that made plays on both ends of the floor. [player_tooltip player_id='3730645' first='Reginald' last='Cross IV'] is 6'4” and used his length and athleticism to his advantage. Excellent cutter off the ball and finished plays around the rim. Always in good position defensively and showed his skill set in transition off defensive rebounds. Plays extremely hard and should play a major role for the Saints this season.
