Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase | Team 8 Evals

However, few compare to our annual Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase and Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. On Sunday, September 6th at the Noblesville Boys &amp; Girls Club we hosted nearly 250 of the best underclassmen in the state. Over the next couple of weeks we will be posting individual evaluations of every prospect in attendance, highlighting top performers, introducing new names, and much more. I first got a chance to watch him in the 3v3 portion of the showcase and was immediately impressed with his ability to shoot the ball off the catch. He is on the slender side, but his ability to create space off the ball is pretty impressive right now. Chaffin was one of the more true wings I saw, hitting multiple shots from deep and off the pull-up. A shorter guard at 5'10", Ashford can really get out and push the pace. Right away, you will notice the length that Henderson has on his frame, which made him a mismatch at times. He has some raw skill right now but can already create his own jumper pretty well. For Team 8, he was arguably their most productive player on the offensive end. In addition to the multiple threes he hit throughout the day, he competed very well on the glass, using his bigger size down low. He was very active in the lane, which allowed him to draw a bunch of contact and earn multiple trips to the line. Coming from Penn HS, Clark came away with a mess of rebounds in each game, it felt like. He is a long wing at 6'3" and had one of the more confident-looking jumpers of any freshman in the gym on Sunday. While he is on the shorter end, Jeffers competes on both ends of the floor with an extremely high motor. Defensively, he was great at guarding the ball, and on the offensive end, his best ability was cutting from the wing.
