. A shorter guard at 5’10”, Ashford can really get out and push the pace. He is really comfortable with his right hand and had a nice play where he grabbed a defensive rebound, took it straight to the other end, and scored in traffic.

One of many talented incoming freshman at Lawrence North High School, Ashford is a true combo guard that has skill both as a primary ball handler and shooter. He is crafty as a ball handler consistently knifing his way into the paint. However, he is also very good at spacing the floor and stretching the defense as a catch-and-shoot threat. His ability to toggle between both guard positions makes him that much more valuable.
