The Expo Showcase will take place this Sunday and each year there are several prospects who help boost their stock heading into the high school season. It's a great opportunity for some to improve their current rankings or put their names on the radar for the next update in their respective class. Lock in now!</a>    Great chance for Suggs to boost his stock even further heading into his senior season where he'll be a primary focus for the reigning Class 2A champions. A guard with good positional size, he'll be able to showcase how prepared he is for the increased role this Sunday at The Expo. The style of play that oftentimes settles in, which will be an uptempo, transition-heavy pace should benefit Suggs with his ability to get to the rim in a variety of ways. He's best with a full head of steam and can use his share of spins and crossovers combined with his lengthy strides to gain driving lanes where and get to the cup. He's shown to score it with either hand in unorthodox ways, but one thing we'll look for is how he takes advantage of showing off his athleticism above the rim as well as the balance when having to settle for jumpers.     Oxendine is one of the lone returners from last years 3A state championship team and while the production from the 2025-26 group of seniors will be impossible to replace, the 6-foot-2 senior guard will be a pivotal contributor this winter. His offense is set up by the gravity he demands from his defender beyond the arc. He has a quick trigger and can let it go from range off the move with precision. When he doesn't quite have his feet under him, Oxendine looks to attack closeouts and rim it. He'll utilize jump stops and use his pivot foot to create angles for scoop layups that he's effcient with.     It's been close to a year since I've gotten eyes on Goings in a live setting and it dates back to last year's Expo when he did a lot of good things. He posed as a dual-threat guard who not only could knock down shots from three off the catch and mid-range jumpers off the bounce, but also showed some nice processing as a passer in the 3v3 setting specifically. I'm looking forward to seeing what other layers of his game that Goings developed and how he looks to separate himself amongst the rest as a senior guard who looks to have a stock-rising winter.     Gottfried played limited minutes on last year's Class 4A title team, so this sort of setting will be a great opportunity to see how much his game has developed. In the past, he's shown ability to operate with his back to the basket on the block where he finished consistently over his left shoulder on hooks with soft touch. He can catch it at the high-post, face the basket and make 15 footers from straight on or scan the floor for cutters. Similar to the theme with the others mentioned here, I'll be looking to see if Gottfried can use his experience and physicality as a senior to command his space and produce at a high rate.     Another physical inside presence will be Key. Similar to Gottfried, this will be an opportunity to see the 6-foot-5 senior forward get to showcase what he can do in more of a free-flowing setting. Typically, the 3v3 portion is where the forwards and bigs can show their worth and instincts playing out of ball screens. In the past, Key has shown a strength in establishing and maintaining his position on the low block for his teammates to dump it down to him in the post before going to work. The Expo will be a muse for what to expect with Key this season at SMCA as he tries to earn valuable rotational minutes.
