2026 Never Forget Classic Forward Standouts

Size and versatility were on full display at the Never Forget Classic, where a number of forwards and big men showed intriguing long-term tools. Some made their presence felt with skill and shooting, while others impacted games with their athleticism, physicality, rebounding and defensive versatility. Here's a closer look at some of the frontcourt prospects who caught my attention.    Miller continues to impress as a modern four man who excels at taking his defender to the rim off the dribble. He has a good understanding of when and how to attack and looked especially comfortable driving the baseline, where he could either finish himself or drop the ball off to a fellow big man. He's still growing into both his frame and his game, but the tools are easy to see. The high-upside forward is only beginning to scratch the surface of his considerable potential.     Now spending a post-graduate season at Perkiomen, the Long Island native has taken his game to another level over the last 12 months. At 6-foot-7, Shaw-Glen owns an ideal frame for a modern four man at the next level. He uses his strength and athleticism to create space off a couple of dribbles or attack the rim on straight-line drives. It's defensively where he really shines, possessing the length and quickness to reliably guard 2-4. His willingness to make hustle plays, be a pest defensively and clean up the glass should be paramount to Perkiomen's success while also helping him attract additional scholarship opportunities.     This was my first viewing of Knight since he arrived at Archbishop Ryan, and the 6-foot-9 big man did not disappoint. A tough finisher around the basket, Knight already possesses good strength and isn't easily knocked off his spots. He consistently established position inside and showed the ability to either finish or find open teammates when the double team arrived. With soft hands, good footwork and a strong frame, Knight has an intriguing foundation, and his best basketball appears to be well ahead of him.     Lynn is a rapidly improving big man who can really score with his back to the basket. His development is particularly intriguing considering how limited his high school minutes have been due to injuries and just how dramatically his body and game have changed over the last 18 months. At 6-foot-9, he still needs to get stronger and currently offers little shooting threat outside of eight feet. What he does provide is rebounding, rim protection, screening and interior scoring, giving him a clear foundation to continue building upon.     Bol is a modern four man with the ability to operate on the perimeter or down low. He runs the floor extremely well for his size and can make an impact defensively as a rim protector. The physical tools are evident, but his basketball IQ and shot selection still need to improve. He also needs to continue getting stronger and spend less time floating around the perimeter. Becoming more consistent with how and where he impacts the game will be important to maximizing his considerable tools.     There's no denying Jackson's skill level. The big man has incredibly soft touch with either hand and prefers operating from the perimeter, where he uses his massive frame and handling ability to facilitate through DHOs and create opportunities for himself. Conditioning and athleticism remain concerns, as does bringing a more consistent approach on a daily basis. Still, Jackson has made significant strides over the last 18 months. Given his size, skill level and continued development, he has legitimate Division I tools.
