SWBC 2026: Top Defensive Performers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I was able to attend the <strong>2026 Southwest Basketball Camp</strong> at the PHHacility in Phoenix, AZ from August 17-18. At this event, there were many brilliant defensive performances put on display. He can defend any position on the court, showing his range by playing exceptional defense on 7'1 [player_tooltip player_id='2829293' first='Noah' last='Bol']. He plays with active hands, making it a chore for opponents to get by him or find a clean look. On defense, he picks his spots and looks for the most opportune time to go for steals, converting on many of them. His fast break defense stood out too, beating the driver to the rim, going straight up and blocking layup attempts. It isn't uncommon for him to fly in from the opposite side of the court to contest an opponent's jumper or layup attempt. A very bouncy player who jumps off the screen with his freak athleticism. At 6'5, he can defend a lot of spots on the court.
