Six Prospects to Watch at the Sophomore ID Camp – Part Three

A couple of years ago we added the Sophomore ID Camp to our list of fall events and it has quickly taken off. Last year we saw massive growth not only in raw numbers but also with so many of the top prospects attending. We expect this year's event to be no different. Class of 2029 prospects in Indiana should be signing up as soon as possible to ensure they secure a spot in this coveted showcase. Here are some of the prospects we are excited to see that have already signed up.

Register: https://events.prephoops.com/e/2352/register/indiana-sophomore-id-camp

Discount: Brandon26PH25OFF

We had the opportunity to watch [program_tooltip program_id='2076166' first='Grand' last='Park Premier'] 15u a few times in July including out at the Pro16 Live event in Richmond, Virginia. Coomes had a big game out there showcasing his versatile offensive skill set. The 6'3" wing is very strong off of the dribble and has the ability to bully defenders around the basket. However, he also flashes perimeter skill as a ball handler and catch-and-shoot threat. The Class of 2029 prospect from Columbus North High School will be one to watch at our Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp.

Higdon is a very talented, still guard in the rising sophomore class at Warsaw Community High School. We saw him shoot the ball very well from three-point range this summer multiple times and really like his upside as a scorer. He is smooth with the ball in his hands, has a quick first step, and has great range as a shooting threat. Higdon will be one to watch closely at our Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp as he is a potential stock-riser in the Class of 2029.

There is always plenty of talent coming through the system at Brownstown Central High School. Hobson, a 6'1" guard in the rising sophomore class, is one to pay attention to in the years to come. He is a talented perimeter shot-maker with a quick release and good footwork when working into his shot off of screening action. We are excited to get a further evaluation of him at our upcoming Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp.

Look for Lee to make an impact as a sophomore at Columbia City High School after transferring over from Homestead. We saw the 6'1" guard have some good games this summer for LVL Up 15u. He is a strong driver, good finisher, and plays hard on the defensive end of the floor. His two way physicality and athleticism should help get him into the rotation. We are excited to have him be a part of our Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp.

This 6'2" wing/forward from Maconaquah High School had a strong showing at our Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase last fall. Now, we will get an updated evaluation of him at the Sophomore ID Camp. It is always a great opportunity to see how prospects have grown and matured over the course of a full year. He is a versatile offensive player that can present matchup problems for opposing defenses.

Look for Ruffin to have a breakout sophomore season as he takes on a larger role in the Gary 21st Century backcourt. He gained some valuable experience at the varsity level as a freshman and is ready to do more as a sophomore. The 5'10" guard is extremely quick with the ball and in his hands and has shown some real playmaking chops as he attacks downhill. We are excited to have him be a part of our upcoming Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp.
