Alex is an excellent ball handler who excels at creating his own shots. He easily drove past defenders, attacked the paint or dished out assists to other teammates. When he decided to take a shot, it usually ended with a lay-up or floater. Alex showed his skills as a shooter throughout the showcase. In isolated situations, he used excellent ball handling moves to free himself for mid-range jumpers. There were some instances where Alex brought the ball up-court, stopped at the three-point line and knocked them down. This showed his prowess as a legitimate threat from behind the three-point line. Alex will continue to grow as an all around player. He already has the ability to be a scorer and play-maker. Imagine how good he could become as his game continues to progress.

Higdon is a very talented, still guard in the rising sophomore class at Warsaw Community High School. We saw him shoot the ball very well from three-point range this summer multiple times and really like his upside as a scorer. He is smooth with the ball in his hands, has a quick first step, and has great range as a shooting threat. Higdon will be one to watch closely at our Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp as he is a potential stock-riser in the Class of 2029.
